Request: Lana I'm re-watching TFAWS and you know the scene where Zemo tells Selby that Bucky will do anything she wants, it literally gives me shivers because I think we all know what he is insinuating happened to Bucky?? Could you please write around that, maybe reader was also trained in the red room and she is forced to play as his handler and it forces them to finally confront their shared pasts and admit that they love each other?
Warnings: This fic does not go into explicitly what happened to reader or Bucky, but abuse is heavily implied. Please do not read if that will upset you xx
âSam, Iâm really not sure about this,â you whispered as you stepped into the bar.
Your leather tactical catsuit felt incredibly tight and Zemo had insisted on urging you to leave the zipper a little too low for your liking on top.
âWhether you like it or not, these are your best weapons to disarm a man,â he said and you hadnât missed the way Bucky grimaced.
âHe seems to know what heâs doing, we have no choice but to trust him,â Sam whispered back.
It made you sick to watch Bucky have to switch back into the Winter Soldier and take on half the bar in hand to hand combat.
It made you even sicker to see the excited gleam on Zemoâs face, almost like he excited in the prospect, you werenât exactly close with Bucky not in the way that Sam or Steve were, but enough to care about his wellbeing and notice how he always softened around you, always put himself before you in the line of danger and patched you up whenever you were injured.
So it worried you that he had to revisit this part of his story now.
You watched him spring into action, pummeling blows and cutting down anyone who tried to attack and you had to acknowledge he was a menacing foe, swift, brutal, relentless and strong but you and Sam shared the exact same horrified look as he dealt with the onslaught of attackers.
âDidnât take much for him to fall back into form,â Zemo sneered and you whirled on him which only widened the smug sneer on his face, Sam placing a hand on you to stay your attack.
But true to Zemoâs words, it did land you an audience with Selby.
Zemo led the negotiations and you hung back beside Bucky, he was still in Winter Soldier mode and you were playing his handler after all, so you stood menacingly and silent beside him.
âWhatâs the offer?â she taunted and Zemoâs velvety voice responded.
âTell us what you know about the super-soldier serum,â he stood and made his way over to Bucky and placed a hand on his shoulder, âAnd I give you him, along with the code words to control him, of course.â
Your eyes widened at Sam and he gave the tiniest shake of his head.
Zemo ran a hand almost seductively down Buckyâs face, stopping to cup his chin, âHe will do anything you want.â
Your heart was thumping in your chest and you felt a white hot rage burning you from the inside out at the implications of what Zemo was implying and the way in which Selbyâs face lit up with the possibilities.
âAnything?â she smiled like a predator, eyeing his body up and down, âShow me.â
Zemo stepped away and turned his attention to you, you could now feel the burn of Selbyâs beady eyes on you.
âHandler, would you please give our friend a demonstration?â he suggested and Selby relaxed back into her chair, watching you with an unwavering interest.
âSoldat,â you commanded and Bucky turned to attention to face you, âOn your knees!â you ordered him in Russian and he didnât even think about it, just fell to his knees before you instantly. He hit the concrete floor with a dull thud, without wincing, without showing any sign of emotion or discomfort and just knelt before you awaiting your next command.
Selby was watching like a tiger, ready to pounce as she moved forward in her seat, her smile predatory and cruel.
âMore,â she demanded, silky voiced, âShow me more. Have him lick your boots,â she purred, eyes suddenly raking in your form, eyes settling on the curve of your breasts where the zipper revealed more of your cleavage than you were comfortable with.
Your eyes widened and you locked eyes with Bucky, you were about to refuse, when he gave you the gentlest of slow blinks and the tiniest movement of his head, all he could do in that moment to urge you that you had to do this.
So you stiffened your posture, even though your heart felt it would burst out of your chest and your palms were sweaty and gave the command.
âSoldat, lick my boot.âÂ
Again without hesitation, he simply leaned forward, palms pressed to the dirty concrete and ran his tongue over the polished leather of your combat boots. It was humiliating and your eyes burned with shame to see him follow the command as if it was nothing, as if it wasnât given to please her sick satisfaction at just what she could make him do. As if it was just another order that he would simply obey without hesitation.
âOn your feet, by my side,â you commanded instantly, before Selby had the option to make another humiliation of him and he complied, and your eyes burned with the feeling of shame and wanting to cry but you couldnât afford to be the reason this negotiation fell apart, especially because of what you had just put Bucky through.
Selby, pleased with what she was being offered, began to spill about the super-soldier serum and gave Zemo Nagleâs name.
To help him find Nagle she demanded one more payment...you- and Zemo offered you up willingly, she delighted in that and was about to speak when to everyoneâs horror. Samâs phone began to ring.
In the chaos of gunshots and running so fast you thought your lungs were on fire, you had taken a shot just under your collarbone but you couldnât afford to slow down, using Bucky as your reference point to follow you kept running, until one by one your pursuers were taken out and Sharon emerged from the shadows.
âSharon we need your help,â Bucky pleaded and you released a shaky breath you didnât even know you were holding because he sounded like himself again, he noticed straight away and looked at you with the tiniest quirk of his head before his eyes widened at the crimson seeping through your tactical suit, and your small hand pressed against it in a feeble attempt to apply pressure.
âYouâre hit,â he scolded.
âJust a flesh wound,â you replied weakly and Sam was placing a worried hand on your back.
âYouâre pale, we need to get you off of the streets and stitched up.â
At this, Sharon finally relented and said she would offer you safety in her apartment in High Town.
âThis is nice,â Zemo cooed, eyeing up the lavishness of Sharonâs apartment and despite how weak and woozy from the loss of blood you felt, you suddenly sprung on him and punched him in his throat.
He fell to the ground wheezing, and before Sharon, or Sam, or Bucky could even react, you were straddling him pummeling blow after blow down upon him, until his nose was bloodied.
âHow dare you offer him up like that,â you were spitting and Sam and Bucky both had to use their might to try to wrestle you off of him.
Eventually, Bucky caught you by your middle and lifted you clean off him, and following Sharonâs directions he made his way to the bathroom and plopped you down unceremoniously on the bathtub.
âDonât move,â he commanded and set off to fetch the first aid kit.
You set your jaw and tried to force yourself to calm down but it wasnât working.
When Bucky returned he was softer, unzipping your tactical suit and gently sliding it down your arms, so that your bottom half was still covered by the suit but you were bare before him on top, in nothing but your sports bra.
He cleaned the wound carefully and meticulously, stitched it and gauzed it all while you sat there, jaw set and staring resolutely ahead and refusing to make eye contact with him.
The air was thick, with the conversation you were refusing to have and eventually Bucky leaned back on his knees before you and ran a hand through his hair, not knowing how to proceed.
âIâm sorry,â you eventually cried, refusing to meet his eye.
âYou didnât do anything wrong,â he said it so softly you finally turned your head to look at him, eyes filling with tears of shame.
âI should have refused, I should have punched Zemo in his throat right there for even insinuating she could have you like that. I didnât want to do it, Buck.â
âI know,â he hushed, eyes full of sympathy and understanding âYou should never have been put in that position, but you did what you had to do,â his tone gentle and reassuring âYou kept us alive!â
âIt was humiliating, you know what Zemo was insinuating and I- I made you do it. In front of her. I made you- It was so wrong.â
âYou didnât make me doll, I did what had to be done,â he was still knelt before you, the gaps of the tiled floor biting his knees but he didnât care, âAnd I would do it again, if it kept you safe. No matter the cost. No matter what I had to do.â
You shook your head and finally the tears began to flow, the very ones you had been holding in since you were back in the room with Selby.
âIt was wrong,â you repeated, choking out a sob and Buckyâs face crumpled as he placed his hand out to you, relieved when you accepted it and hung on.
For a few seconds you were both staring into each other's eyes, having an entirely different, silent conversation, faces etched in pain and eventually Bucky whispered âCome here,â and you slinked down to his level and into his open arms. He let you cry in his arms, holding you steady until you could catch your breath, and then you pulled apart just a fraction to look into his eyes again but he didnât let go.
âYou know how we were finished in the red room?â you whispered and he really fucking wished he didnât, but he did, he gently nodded his head and you reached up to cup his face gently, brushing your thumb gently over his cheek, âDid they do that to you?â
For a moment his whole world stood still, it felt like the tiles below his knees were splitting open, blowing up and stripping all his armour away until every ugly, broken part of him that he buried in shame was open for you to see. But the way you were looking at him like you could physically feel his pain made him nod, just once in your hands.
âThatâs why itâs killing me,â you told him honestly âThat I made you kneel. That I made you-â
You couldnât even bring yourself to say the words, your voice cracked as you choked on a sob.
âItâs not the same,â he gasped, grasping your face in his hands, âYou are not them!â
âI will die before I ever let anyone do that to you again,â you promised and he wiped your tears away with his thumbs.
âYou are not them,â he repeated âWeâre safe. Iâm safe. Itâs over, they can never hurt us again.â
You sprung forward and he welcomed you back into his arms, locking his own around your frame and holding you until your breathing steadied out again.
âKeep Zemo away from me,â you eventually spoke when you were calm, âNext time I will choke him with my bare hands.â
Bucky huffed a laugh and ran his fingers through your hair, âAs entertaining as that would be doll, we need him. But you can personally put the cuffs on him when all of this is over.âÂ
It would be weeks before the true burning feeling of shame began to melt away, but each night as Bucky whispered sweet nothings into your ear it dissipated slightly.
But the final nail in the coffin was when he mumbled âIâm safe with you,â one night when he was somewhere between sleep and consciousness.Â
Neither Sam, nor Zemo commented on the fact that something had changed between you and Bucky.
Where he had always stood alone before, stoic faced and mean, you were now always by his side.
You fell asleep on his shoulder on the plane to Riga and you slept by his side wherever base was for the night.
At Samâs cookout in Louisiana, cheeks tinged pink under the fairy lights on the deck, he officially asked you to be his girl.
âI was your girl from the day I met you,â you told him honestly and he pulled you to him in a kiss that had your head spinning.
And for the first time in years he truly felt like it was maybe okay to put down some of the baggage he had been dragging around with him, and he left it right there on the deck in Louisiana, with the love of his life on his arm and his best friend cheering in the background.
And truly for the first time since he emerged from the Potomac, dragging an unconscious Steve onto the bank- he began to heal.
A/N: Not all characters, so of course Iâm willing to do multiple parts of this!
Clint:
You got too confident and tried something he explicitly told you not to try. Nonetheless, he blames himself. He shouldâve known you werenât going to listen to him and shouldâve prevented this. So when he sees you fall to the ground, your knees buckling, he rushes to your side.
âY/N! Fuck!â
âItâs okay,â you said trying to get back up.
You failed miserably, your arm giving in under your weight.
âFuck!â you said.
âItâs ok, itâs ok, just stay down.â
âIâm sorry, I shouldnât have done that. You told me I wasnât ready.â
âItâs alright, itâs just a few bruises and cuts. You probably hit your head when you fell, thatâs why youâre dizzy.â
âHow bad is it?â
âYouâll survive,â he said smiling, âNow come on, letâs get you cleaned up.â
âDid I at least look badass?â
âRight now, not really. While doing the thing I explicitly said you should not try? A bit, yeah,â he said smiling.Â
âCool!â
âNo, not cool! But weâll work on it. Now, come on.â
You tried to take a few steps but stumbled as you were still dizzy. He wrapped an arm around your waist, helping you reach the infirmary.Â
Heâs very careful when cleaning your cuts and bandaging your wounds.
âIt will sting a bit, just a heads up,â he said before using an alcohol wipe on your forehead.
âA bit!â you say wincing, âwhen do you think we can go back to training?â
âNow, slow down. We still need to put band-aids on those cuts and ice on your bruises. They could use a little help to heal quicker.â
He makes it a point to explain everything he does just so you know what to do if you ever get hurt on a solo mission.
Even if you want to go back to training as soon as possible, he always finds a way to keep you distracted long enough for you to heal properly.
Strange:
He takes every precaution to ensure you wonât hurt anyone or yourself while training. You mostly train in the mirror dimension to make sure you donât destroy anything as well or end up getting hurt by your own collateral damage. But he forgot that you could hurt yourself by pushing your limits too far.
âStrangeâŠ?â you asked, worry in your voice.
âWhatâs going on?â he said touching down from where heâs been levitating.
âIs⊠is it supposed to burn?â you said, looking down at your hands.
âIs what supposed to burn? Y/N?â he asked, now coming towards you, âY/N, talk to me.â
Your hands were burning so badly. Your vision got blurry and you started falling. Strange caught you before you could hit the ground, sitting down with you, your head on his chest.
âMy hands,â you finally said, your voice shaking, âtheyâre burningâŠâ
âThat last blast was a lot, itâs just residual energy, youâre okay,â said Strange trying to keep you and himself calm.
This was one of his biggest fears, you getting hurt, but more specifically your hands getting hurt when he could prevent it.
âItâs not!â you screamed, âit wonât go away like it usually does! Strange do something⊠please,â you said now pleading, tears in your eyes.
He placed both hands on yours and mumbled something. The burning slowly went away, only leaving a tickling sensation in your fingertips. You sighed, resting back your head on Strange.
âThanks,â you whispered.
âNext time, you take things slower? This happened because you tried too quickly to do something you couldnât completely control. Energy got stuck in your hands and couldnât get out. Iâll teach you how to disperse it in your body like I just did, but promise youâll warn me next time you try something like that?â
âSure.â
All that left you exhausted and Strange knew it. He carried you into your room and let you rest for a while. He will use teaching you the new spell as an excuse to keep you from training for a while. Heâll pretend that itâs to give you time to get back on your feet but truthfully, itâs because he got really scared of something bad happening and could use the break himself.
Tony:
It took everything for him to train with you. You had to beg for weeks. He always found an excuse. He had meetings, conferences, missions, villains to defeat. One time he even completely disappeared for a few days before coming back with a nice tan. You even began to doubt his excuses were true.
âI have to learn physico-chemistry of cold plasma by tomorrow,â he said.
âThatâs not even a real thing,â you grumbled.
But he eventually agreed. While he was more experienced than you, he treated you as an equal and didnât hold back. He was not aiming to hurt you, on the contrary, but he wanted this to be as realistic as possible. You got a few good hits in but had to fall back. As you turned around, ready to dodge the next wave of attacks, your foot caught on something and the blast hit you square in the chest. You fell hard on your back, your breath cut by the impact. You laid there for a second trying to breathe again.
âY/N?â he asked.
You didnât answer. You could barely breathe, how could he expect you to answer. But this was Tony Stark. You had to get back up, you couldnât look weak in front of him.
âYou okay?â he called again, this time closer.
You shut your eyes and bit your lower lip trying to get the pain to leave your body. As if it was that easy. You tried to get up but quickly gave up.
âY/N, are you⊠shit, this is exactly why I didnât want to trainâŠâ
âIâm fine,â you said, opening your eyes, âJust taking a little break.â
You tried to smile, but the pain was too much.
âA break, uh? Maybe Iâll take one with you then,â he said lying next to you.
It took a minute but you finally got your breathing under control.
âYou okay, kid,â he asked.
âThink so,â you said.
âNow, come on,â he said getting up and offering you a hand, âWeâre getting you checked out.â
âI feel fine,â you said, yet still winced as you got up.
âY/N, donât⊠see this is why I train alone! So stuff like this doesnât happen!â
He looked away from you. You could see tears in his eyes.
âBut⊠Iâm okayâŠâ you said before painfully taking a few steps toward him.
You hugged him, carefully resting your head on his shoulder.
âIâll be okay, this wasnât your fault,â you added, whispering.
âI-âŠâ he started pushing you away from him, âletâs get you checked out and then will grab something to eat. Burgers?â
Yelena:
You couldnât really tell if she was happy or not to train with you. Not that you had to convince her. You had grown really close to one another since you met and had hoped she would say yes, as you were eager to learn from her. And she did, she agreed right away, but still, you couldnât tell how she felt about it.
The training was going well. She showed you a few new moves and you had no problems learning them. You even managed to use them against her. This probably hurt her ego, as she doubled down on the attacks. Nothing too dangerous, but you could feel the pressure rising. Both of you wanted to show off to the other by trying more and more complicated hits.
Then it happened. She hit you right in the face, making you lose balance and stumbled. As you tried to shake the dizziness away, she landed another blow right in your ribs. You rolled away, trying to avoid any more hits.
âWhat,â she said, âTired?â
You closed your eyes moaning, you could feel your side throbbing.
âCome on, Y/N! I know you got more in you. You did good when you did the jab and then the kick and the other kick. You can still do good. Get up!â
You actually liked that she was still pushing you to continue. If this had been a real fight, you would at least need to get up and get to safety. You could help but smile at the thought of you two, out there, fighting side by side.Â
You sat up, feeling around your ribs. Not broken, thankfully.
âY/N? Please get upâŠâ Yelena said, now closer to you.
âI⊠Iâm alright,â you said, looking up at her.
âY/N, I am so so sorryâŠâ she said but then stopped.
You couldnât tell if it was only worry or if she was actually about to cry.
âI swear, Yelena,â you said, âIâm okay, but are you?
âWe need to get you fixed,â she said holding out a hand, not answering your question.
âIf we get me fixed, will you be okay?â you asked taking her hand and getting up.
âMaybe⊠but they need to fix you really good.â
âIâm sure they will,â you said offering a smile.
A/n: This is my first preference. Please be kind, Iâm not so confident about my english in this (I checked the translation five times)Â I would love to hear what you think about it! You can also write me what do you want to read next :)
You never expected him to stand at your table one afternoon with two cups in his hands.Â
"Hi, I saw that your cup was empty⊠And I thought you might want another coffee." A touch of red could be seen on his cheeks when you looked at him in surprise. His blue eyes glowed when you smiled.Â
"Thank you. But that wouldn't have been necessary." You picked up the cup, you felt the blood poured into your cheeks. âMay I sit down?â âOh, yes, of course, excuse meâ You hastily took your bag off the other chair and nervously removed a few strands of hair from your face.Â
 "I'm Bucky." âY/n nice to meet you.â
Natasha
It was a pretty hot summer and everyone was on their way to the coast. Besides, it was summer holidays and you spent your two weeks of free time there as well. Only on your own you booked a suite in a hotel at the beach to have some time on your own. At 32 degrees you made your way to the pool. After a few hours and drinks later you noticed a woman next to you. She was sitting there completely silent and calm in black clothes.
"Arenât you sweating?" Amazed you took off your sunglasses, staring at the red haired woman. She looked at you with a little smile on her lips. "Yes, but I'm here for work, besides, bikinis haven't been my favorite garments for some time." With a confused nod, you took note of her answer when an employee of the hotel passed by. "Anyways, can I buy you something cold to drink?"Â
Minutes later, you both had a glass in your hand, she had water, and you had a colorful cocktail in your hands. She didn't talk much about her work, but told a little about herself after talking about your vacation. In the end, a look at the clock was the reason for her to get up.
"I have to go," she stroked her clothes smoothly and her red hair swirled through the light wind, "can I return the favor with a drink tonight for the good company?" Her bright smile let you hold your breath for a moment and you nod happily. "At the hotel bar? Ask for Natasha. I'll wait for you there."
Sam
"Gaye, Gaye, Gaye, Marvin Gaye!" you were delighted to find the name of one of your favorite singers on the shelf of the small stuffy vinyl store. Feverishly you had searched for new records and today you had landed in this store. One by one you went through all the records Marvin Gaye had released.Â
"If you ask me, the Trouble Man soundtrack is the best thing ever composed, although You're all I need isn't bad either." Startled, you whirl around; a man was standing in front of you, you'd seen walking around with interest earlier. "Oh uh thanks for the tip, but I already knew that. Marvin Gaye is my favorite singer." Smiling widely you take the Trouble Man soundtrack off the shelf, watched by the stranger.Â
"Oh really? I've never met a woman who calls Marvin Gaye her favorite singer." Astonished he examines you with a breathtaking smile on his lips. "Well you haven't met me yet either. Y/n." "Sam Wilson. Do you want to listen to the album together?" "I'd love to Sam."
Steve
Your Saturday evening wasnât as expected. You have already made plans with your friends but unfortunately your mom called you to pick up your grandfather because she and your dad couldnât make it.Â
You loved your grandpa, and you would do anything for him, but you couldnât hold back an annoyed sigh as you started your car. No one waited at the entrance of the building as you arrived at the address. With one another sigh you walked through the entrance.Â
You saw your grandpa immediately, sitting at the bar, as you stepped out of the elevator. Besides him many of his friends you already knew and two younger men standing near you.Â
âHi can I help you?â One of the men came closer with a friendly smile on his lips which made you blush because of the unexpected attention. He was tall, short blonde hair, beautiful eyes and the dark blue shirt showed off his muscles perfectly. âHi. Iâm here to pick up my grandpa.â Without looking away from these deep blue eyes, you answered noticing that your voice wasnât as confident as you wanted.Â
âY/n sweetheart. Come sit down. I don't have as much time as the captain.â You both looked to your grandpa who was grinning with one beer in his hand. âHow much did he drink?â
You and the stranger both looked at each other with raised eyebrows, slowly realizing that it was Captain America who you were talking to. âEnough⊠Iâm sorry.â His face showed that he was seriously sorry which made you grin again. âEverythingâs fine. Heâs old enough.â The blonde relaxed at your answer and offered you a beer with a wink.
âIâm Steve by the way. Nice to meet you y/n.â
Thor
It was a pretty cheesy first to get to know.Â
You were on your way home early in the evening after you were at work all day. Completely exhausted, you typed wildly on your phone to answer some more mails before you started the weekend. In quick steps, you walked past bars where a number of people lured in the weekend with a few drinks. Your evening would consist of some take away food and Netflix for sure. One block away from the building where your apartment was, you ran into someone.Â
âCan't you look where you walk?!â With a less deliberate harsh voice, you slowly get back on your feet after landing on the ice-cold asphalt. Your counterpart had still stretched out his arms as if he wanted to help you, but you completely ignored that.Â
âSorry Miss, it wasn't my intention to stamp on you. I was about to-âÂ
âWhatever, it's all right. No bones were broken." With clenched teeth, you rub your slightly hurting elbow.Â
âAre you sure everything's okay? Obviously, something hurts you." He pointed to your arm. âEverything's fine, thank you.âÂ
For the first time, you looked into the piercing blue-grey eyes of the man, which just grew bigger when you answered. He looked good, no question. Two heads bigger than you, wide-built, blonde hair, which was tied in a braid, a few strands outlined his narrow face with a beard and those eyes that unintentionally captivated you.Â
âI'm really sorry. I'd like to make it up to you." You only took his melodic voice on the verge, like in trance, you were trying to make your hair look good again and staring at him. âYes⊠gladly. By the way, I'm y/n."Â
He watched your outstretched hand for a short moment until he finally took it and pressed a kiss on the back of the hand at lightning speed. âThor. A pleasure to make your acquaintance y/n." "Okay, Thor, I'd say you're paying the first drink.â
Wanda
You were alone in the city to go shopping. In one store you found a lot of new clothes that you really wanted to try on. In the dressing room you put on a pair of Heels, pants, a top and a matching blazer and walked out to look at yourself in the big mirror in front of the dressing rooms. You noticed another woman wearing exactly the same outfit as you, in a lighter color, looking at herself in the same mirror a little further behind you.Â
"It suits you perfectly if I may say so." With a wide smile, you looked at her through the mirror. Her long brown wavy hair, heart shaped face with big brown eyes matches perfectly with the light colors.Â
"Oh thank you so much, but it looks much better on you." She came up to you as you turned around and eyed you up and down. "You should definitely buy that. The shoes fit perfectly too."
Feeling embarrassed, because of another compliment from her, you brushed a loose strand of hair away, that had fallen out of your bun.Â
"But only if you buy it too." She nodded in agreement, "If you wear it the next time we see each other."Â
Speechless and surprised, you felt the uprising heat in your cheeks when her smile widened as she saw your embarrassment. You hastily nod which made her giggle.Â
"This Friday at seven? I'll pick you up if you like, or we can meet somewhere." Slowly your speechless expression turned into a smile. "My place at 7. Here..." You handed her your cell phone. Hastily she typed her number, "Text me." With a wink, she disappeared into her cubicle. A glance at your cell phone screen told you her name.Â
Marvel Preference: How they would tease their s/o for being short
request by @kpopgirlbtssvtâ
Characters: Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson and Loki Laufeyson
A/N: I hope you like it!
Steve Rogers
Heâs been short and has been teased about it (even though not lovingly), so he at least knows how frustrating it can get if he teases you too much about it (even if you have said you wouldnât mind, heâs afraid heâs frustrating you anyway). So he doesnât really tease you that much, but he might say something about it as a practical joke. Like if you do a magnificent shortcake, he might say that itâs no wonder itâs good because youâre short yourself too.
Bucky Barnes
Calls you a teeny and ruffles your hair sometimes. But he also knows it can get frustrating if he does it too much (because heâs Steveâs best friend) but heâs not as cautious as Steve is with it. Heâs still calling you with teasing pet names and making humorous remarks about your shortness. But he can read it from your face if youâre having a bad day so he leaves the teasing those days.
Sam Wilson
Always says that if you needed saving, it would be difficult to catch you while heâs on a flight because youâre so short and heâd need someone else to save you. Heâs also calling himself as the eagle and you as the little sparrow. (He might change your desktop background to an image of an eagle and sparrow together just to mess with you) One time someone thought youâre a child from behind and Sam has never let go of that, saying that âhey, kiddo, wanna ice creamâ if youâre at a store together.
Loki Laufeyson
His teasing might frustrate you on a bad day so tell it to him if he pisses you off. But if you marry him, you probably have accepted him teasing you. Like he puts his elbow on your head to lean against you, then apologizes and tells you that he thought youâre something he could lean on. Might tell someone who sees you for the first time and is surprised youâre so short, that youâre a descent of the royalty of the mini-elves of the Western Realm. You punch his arm whenever he says that.
Your boyfriend of two years was missing New Years Eve with you. Not that you minded, this holiday mostly consisted of you, Wanda, and Nat getting drunk at Tonyâs customary mandatory party. You wouldnât say you didnât miss him. You always missed him when he was off on missions. You just so happen to get a wee bit more emotionally open when youâve had a couple seven of Natâs hard liquor cocktails in the last four hours.Â
Now you were laying with your head resting on Natâs breast sniffling about how you missed your Stevie. It was 6 minutes to midnight and you were struggling with the fact that you werenât gonna get to kiss anyone or more likely fend of some drunk idiot you tried to kiss you.Â
When the time came for everyone to kiss someone you were instantly glad you monopolised the ex-assains lap because no one tried to kiss your tear-stained self with her around. Ten minutes after midnight a mop of dirty blonde hair, still in his stealth suit came charging through the crowds towards you. Unbeknownst to you this super-soldier saw Wandaâs Instagram live on the quinjet back from the mission. Consequently, that was the reason he was charging at you full speed ahead. âStevie!â You shouted once you realised who he was and he picked you up with a swift kiss.Â
Natasha Romanov âThatâs How I Kissed The Bride Bitchesâ
After your quick appearance at Starkâs new years party, you and Nat found yourselves cuddled up under the sheets coming down from your respective highs. The Netflix show long abandoned you moved to pull back the curtains of her room. The sky was ablaze with beautiful purple and blue fireworks.
âWhat time is it?â You asked glancing back at the redhead a gorgeous gold colour shinning against the skin of her back.
She turned back around phone in hand, âten tilâ You nodded climbing back under the sheets just when the colour changed to green. The television turned off, her phone placed back on the nightstand moments like this were rare. Just being able to lay comfortably in her arms was perfect. No need to fill the silence with small talk or media programs you donât actually care about. You two laid there for what felt like lifetimes. Once you heard the collective cries of New York City amplify the two of you knew the countdown had begun. You barely lifted your head up to look at her bushing noses gently before kissing her softly. She told you they were called âEskimo kissesâ but you still prefer âthatâs how I kissed the bride bitchesâ based on your wedding story.Â
Bucky Barnes And The âIâm Not Comfortable With PDAâ Peck
It had taken major convincing on the part of Steve to get your boyfriend to come to Starkâs party. Normally you wouldâve helped Steve coax Bucky out into the world again. This time he had no help from you, in no way were you gonna drag the man you love through the war zone that was Starkâs âIâm better than The Great Gatsbyâ parties. You could barely handle them you didnât want to know what would happen if James was dragged to one of them. Your boyfriend, however, caved when Steve pulled the âBucky from the 40s would do itâ hat trick.
So here you were dressed up and anxiously watching him. Youâd gone deaf about a half an hour into the party which was loud, even by New Yorkâs standards. He handled much that was thrown at him well. You suspected that was more of an act for Steve then how he really felt. Natasha joined your group close to midnight flush against Steveâs side running her fingers through his hair while recounting an embarrassing story about the super-soldier.Â
It finally hit 12 and pairs of people all around you passionately, albeit drunkenly, kissed each other. You continued watching Bucky take in the surrounding people before his ice blue eyes met yours. A moment of silence dragged between you both and you gave him a reassuring smile, the best you could manage anyways. Before you could turn away he pressed a soft kiss to your lips, so light and so fast that if it werenât for his bright red cheeks you mightâve thought youâd imagined it.
You asked FRIDAY to turn the screen on a broadcast the ball drop. The AI complied and everyone gathered around the couch. âI *hic* did it!â Wanda cheered throwing her arms up, âIâm magic!â You set about moving her out from in front of the tv before the team got frustrated. The team continued their games with the television as background noise. Once the counter started everyone got into their pairs except Wanda who kept looking frantically around the room. âWhereâs my Y/n/n bear!?â
âRight here loveâ You replied pulling her down by the hips onto the couch. She looked at you suspiciously narrowing her eyes before denying the fact that that was indeed you. You let out a frustrated sigh looking at your fellow teammates for help, they just snickered and you growled back at them.Â
