There are three levels of ghost ship in Only Boo

ShoneKang: We know Shone genuinely has a crush on Kang but got turned down because of Moo.

JangPayos: Alas, we know Payos is in love with Potae and that Jang is an idol they're going to dance with so... just a ghost and wishful thinking.

JangShone: HEAR ME OUT... they both get turned down by the younger men they're trying to flirt, meet at an afterparty for influencers and idols and the rest is history.

Rewatching Vigil for the nth time and I realised the calendar is briefly visible when Kirsten and Amy argue in the kitchen in Episode 5. Brilliant, a chance to put a clearer timeline on breakup and makeup. Load the file for screen capping and yeah that's some blurry non-information.

Starting with the clearer one:

Poppy's birthday is Saturday 12th of September, which was indeed a Saturday in 2020. Great, if I can identify the 2020 calendar from the September picture I might be able to recognise the picture of the other month.

The good news is that even though they're not really still selling them, lots of online vendors still have 2020 calendars online. Some even have thumbnails of all 12 months.

And after a lot of google image searching and playing with terms like portrait and narrow and munros I didn't find anything that matched that September picture. So it's not online, or props didn't use a real calendar. And looking at it closely something is slightly off - almost like they put a insert with a nice bright white September at the bottom of a picture, selected a calendar layout with single day rows and hung it over a calendar already there.

This seems even more likely when we compare it to the calendar visible in the fight scene:

- no white month name, instead what looks like a short month name in dark text below the picture. Or maybe it's a different calendar because new year, but that would suggest this fight took place more than nine months before the current story (plus five more if you need a short month name) which seems very unlikely.

So what information did I get from all this? Absolutely nothing!

Hanukkah is not in September, nor is the first day of Winter! That September really iz pastede on yay! It's hiding a December. Which still tells me nothing about timelines.
