y do i keep playing myself like this. I was reading this fic where skinner was interrogating mulder and scully over something then asked to see mulder alone. the writer kept putting so much thoughtful description into this. like u could tell a lot of time was spent nurturing it. n i was like wow this is really good! this must be necessary to the plot, they keep emphasizing things. mulder’s sweating buckets. wow skinner’s getting really handsy there? that’s not very nice. oh he just kissed him. hm....m. that;.s..i dont think this is fbi protocol

That moment when you realize you’re an idiot because you’re only writing about 700 - 900 words per chapter and you’re not even through the first episode of the show and you already have 5 chapters and you realize that it’s probably going to be like 30 chapters and then you realize that it’s probably not all going to be out before Christmas because you’re an idiot and din’t start writing it sooner.
