I had high hopes for this wine. I recently tried the mencia grape for the first time and absolutely loved it. 4 bottles (of the same wine) later, and I knew I had to try some more. I was excited when I found this wine on WTSO (my go to discount wine website). Originally priced at $90 and on sale for ~$20, I thought I found the steal of the year.

We popped this wine open tonight and I ran it through my trusty venturi pouring aerator. I thought that since this wine was recommended to be cellared for a while that this would open it up a bit. I was surprised by the muted notes on the bouquet and thought it would be more expressive. On the nose it smells earthy, graphitey, and slight notes of berry. This wine is also not as expressive on the palate, though it does have a large finish. It is very smooth as well. Lasting flavors are of cherry and white pepper. I was expecting a little more fruit forward. I'm going to leave this one uncorked and let it get a little more air, maybe glass two will be somewhat different.

Amazing!  That Obama, and the rest of the liberals, can pretend to care about our children when they support abortion on demand.  How hypocritical can a person be?
