A little update on how my life has turned out
I haven’t posted here in a while and I’m perfectly aware of that. It’s because I’ve been going through a very hard time.
I made this studyblr last year to help me study and focus because one thing led to another and I had huge difficulties with studying. Mostly with motivation and focus. This account helped me a bit but it wasn’t enough.
I didn’t make it. I failed one subject, which made it impossible for me to continue my studies. You could easily say I got kicked out.
Those few last months at uni taught me many important lessons I wish I had known while staring university in the first place.
I decided to give myself one more try to I applied again. I got in and now I'm retaking the year I failed. Many things in the curriculum changed and I’d like to think that I changed too and this time I feel like I’m ready for the challenge that is studying medicine.
I thought I wouldn’t post here for a while because what if I was failing again? I would make a fool of myself. Now over a month has passed and I have never done better in uni. I never thought I’d be able to ever achieve such good grades even though among others, they’re not exceptional, but for me they are.
One of my chemistry teachers told me a few weeks ago that it’s important that I picked myself up and got my life together and that I’m determined now because I learnt my lesson and everything she said is right.
I’m not gonna lie to you guys and show you only the best things about studying. I wanna show you that even though sometimes it gets hard and sometimes you even fail, it’s not the end of the world. You just gotta push through and learn your lesson. Take a look at what was wrong and change it.
So I am now proud to say that it’s my second time at my 1st year of med school and with the lessons I’ve learnt last year, this year I’m doing very good and I’d be happy to continue sharing my journey with all of you guys.

a little japanese vocab and kanji practice, hope, you don't mind :)
That day of the week when the last seminar on schedule finishes only in the evening… ;; It’s microbiology and, even though it ends pretty late, is a very interesting one for many reasons. Spending time exploring microorganisms just sounds like a nice alternative of TGIF stuff for me, haha (sorry not sorry)... So I always return in high spirits at home no matter how tired and sleep-deprived I am (which is a rare sight).
The last time I was making my way from seminar I found beauty in those almost empty dimmed big halls... And, y'know, it couldn't be helped to capture this. And add up a tiny cyberpunk-ish style edit as well~
