Quarrae? for the ask thingy (~medi-fr)

Hmm, Quarrae is still a dragon I’ve not figured out a ton about, but I think he is a fairly young boy and clearly quite nature-y haha…

For food, he probably prefers fruits, stuff like figs or nuts? He can casually munch em throughout the day…

I plan to re-evaluate that outfit eventually, but I’d say he likes more flow-y and loose garments! And softer colors to look nice on his more vivid magenta fur haha.

For favorite color, he loves creams and light blues c:

His favorite clanmate is probably Galanthus the Skydancer, his fellow nature primal! She’s very motherly toward him I’m sure. As for least favorite, maybe Yvo the Bogsneak? Quarrae is not happy about the splinters he’s gotten from Yvo’s attempts at carpentry.

Flight Rising Artist Appreciation

I don’t know any artists on flight rising except for a tiny handfull of people and I wanna give them a shoutout anyways:

@dergs-in-the-skies who makes super cute dragons portraits and adoptables, she has an art shop! My icon was done by her!

@melonberriable who hasn’t done officially art for flight rising (yet?) but drew an awesome portrait of my boy Irirangi as a birthday gift this year.

@medi-fr who made an amazing portrait of my girl Psithura and has recently opened an art shop!

@laybrushlarcenist who has makes awesome stimboards for your dergs and has opened an accent shop not so long ago!

@pumpkin-bread who makes amazing art and skincents. They have shops for accents/skins and adoptables!

bee? 🐝 -medi

Bee!! I admittedly don’t like Wasp all that much, but I feel like it’s pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to go wrong with Bee. A wing gene taking inspiration from real wings is always gonna be a winner in my books. if only it wasn’t so expensive ddsfdsf but omg i love the glassy look a ton! it feels really natural I think, it’s a cool texture and it can tame wild colors well, and I enjoy the little shininess it adds too! But it doesn’t steal the show, which is nice when you want the primary or tert to carry more of the look!

A tough pick honestly, since I don’t know if of my options one really stands out more than any of the rest, but Dardo is a lot of fun! She rocks those wings and I love how it ties into the accent of her eldritch primary.

Pearlcatcher, Arcane, Scinscent :> (~medi-fr)

Pearlcatcher - Is there a breed you like the pose of one gender over the other? yes actually, now that I think about it. I prefer the female poses of the banescales, the skydancers and the ridgebacks.

Arcane - What’s your favorite thing about your flight? hmm, good question lmao. I like the eye colors of the lightning flight (the reason why I switched from wind to lightning). Also I adore the desert aesthetic (the industrial machine one not so much tbh), open plains of wind and storms with hidden oases between rocks and canyons carved by wind and time. I’m a sucker for places like that.

Skinscent - What is your favorite skin, accent, or skinscent? oof. biig oof. there are so many amazing skincents how am I supposed to choose?! I like a lot of them and my favourites change frequently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
