My Eggplant Died Yesterday

I could make a million posts just about Yuyoyuppe and his extensive body of work. However, this time around I am going to focus on a band he was a part of: My Eggplant Died Yesterday (although for the sake of this post, I'll abbreviate it to MEDY).

Goated post-hardcore and screamo band that released 5 songs (I've seen some people label it as screamo, though I'm not great with genres so I can't confirm or deny with great confidence). 3 of the songs are part of an EP, 1 is part of a compilation album called Brat Pack 2013 (that deserves its own post), and the other one is the last track on Yuyoyuppe's Story of Hope album. There may be more out there, but that's all as far as I'm aware (studio release wise).

I discovered this band and EP a couple of months ago after I went down a rabbit hole of Yuyoyuppe's discography and works. Genuinely, if you want to discover new music, all you need to do is find a producer or artist and research about them. Anyway, I just recently discovered that all the members of the band were/are vocaloid producers, (not sure if this is 100% true or if absolutely all the members were vocaloid producers, but either way a cool fact) I thought Yuyoyuppe was the only one!

As far as I'm concerned, Yuyoyuppe is responsible for the main vocals in their songs and let me say, I love his vocals. The entire band does a great job and they deserve their flowers, even if they're not releasing music anymore.

Caos e violenza al concerto non autorizzato di Medy Cartier al centro commerciale Gran Reno

Un concerto non autorizzato del rapper Medy Cartier al centro commerciale Gran Reno di Casalecchio ha generato caos e violenza. La folla di giovani, in gran parte minorenni di famiglie migranti, ha provocato disordini già prima dell’inizio dell’evento, con risse, fumogeni e l’uso di spray al peperoncino.

Prima dell’arrivo del rapper, si è scatenata una rissa al piano superiore del centro commerciale, culminata con due persone accoltellate, di cui una in condizioni serie. Il caos è proseguito durante l’esibizione di Medy Cartier, con piccole risse e momenti di panico tra la folla. La presenza delle forze dell’ordine in tenuta antisommossa ha contribuito a contenere la situazione, ma non ha impedito completamente gli episodi di violenza.

Nonostante la presenza delle divise, alcuni gruppi di giovani si sono azzuffati, e una ragazza è svenuta in mezzo alla calca.
