Chapter 8

Hey, sorry it took a while. I had this chapter written out a few weeks ago; I actually got started on it right after I posted chapter 7. But after I finished writing it, I had some stuff to do. So, I did what I needed to do, and when I finished, I ended up getting sick with a fever because I overworked myself while sleep-deprived. So, make sure you all get plenty of sleep!

Arcee and Megatron have indeed met again multiple times, most of the time being on the battlefield. But there have been a few times where they met up in secret, just to have some alone time together away from their teams and the fighting. They're not Autobot and Decepticon, they're just two sparkmates enjoying some time together away from the battlefield.

Each time Megatron got into a fight and got injured in any way, Arcee could feel it and was always in pain herself. It made it difficult for Optimus to fight Megatron, knowing that Arcee could feel each hit. But she was strong and pushed through the pain every time. When Bumblebee pierced Megatron in the chest with Optimus' sword, Arcee fell to the floor, grasping her chest. Ratchet quickly picked her up and rushed her to Med Bay, all of them hoping and praying she would pull through. Ratchet did what he could, but he knows that it's really up to Arcee to pull through.

Jack stays by her side, begging her not to leave. It was an intense wait, but she did pull through. She couldn't leave Jack or her team. They revived Cybertron, then took the kids back to Earth, where they said their farewells. Arcee hated saying goodbye to Jack, but she needed to return home to help rebuild their planet.

Arcee slowly walked through the city where she met Megatronus, and it all began. Memories flooded her processor as she looked over the ruined buildings. She came across the club she danced in, where she first met Megatronus and he bought her. Lubricant filled her optics as she thought over everything that happened. She wondered what happened to the other femmes that she was dancing with. Are they all dead? Are any of them still alive? The club is now only half standing, showing the effects of the war. But she can still remember the way it looked before, all the bots that drove by in their vehicle form or walked past while talking to each other.

She continues walking until she comes across the apartment building. She wanted to come here as soon as they got back to Cybertron, but she wasn't able to. She had to help gather up the remaining Decepticons that were still on the loose, as well as help rebuild, then they found out that there were new Predacons on the planet, and then Unicron showed up in Megatron's body. It was such a shock for her to see him back from the dead again. It was quite the battle to take him down, along with his undead army, but with the help of the Predacons, they were able to do it. When they finally managed to free Megatron from Unicron, he looked at Arcee then flew off.

That's part of the reason she's here, to see if he might have returned to his old home, but she hasn't seen him anywhere. She looks up at the apartment building as she debates with herself whether she should go inside to see the old apartment. As she's debating with herself, she hears the sound of transforming followed by a loud thud behind her. Her spark quickens as she hears the sound of footsteps coming towards her.

"Reminiscing about our past again."

"I can't help it. Being here brings back so many memories."

"Look at me." Arcee turns to look at Megatron, who is kneeling beside her to be at her level. He brings up a servo to wipe away the lubricant that had escaped from her optics. "Would you be willing to give me a second chance?"

Arcee leans in to kiss him, Megatron wraps his arms around her to pull her closer to his body as he kisses her back. Of course. He broke from the kiss to pick her up and carry her into the building. Some of the apartments on the ground floor were missing doors, so he walked into one of them and went straight to the bedroom, where they renewed their sparkbond.

When Arcee finally reunited with her parents again she couldn't have been happier. They were so happy to see that she survived the war. Not only that, but she also found out that she's sparked, and when they found out, they were overjoyed. Megatron, on the other hand, was hesitant. He's not sure if he would be a good sire, but Arcee was able to soothe his worries.

Even though he never saw himself having any sparklings, as long as it's with Arcee, he doesn't mind.

Unfortunately, this is the last chapter. I have to end it here. I'm out of ideas, and honestly, I was never planning on making this a long book; it was originally supposed to be only 2-3 chapters, but I was able to make it 8.

But I'm so glad you guys were enjoying it. I hope you will continue enjoying my other stories. :)
