Steven Universe is amazing, put it in your eyeholes. It's a bit slow to start (for my taste anyway) but absolutely worth sticking with
honestly the reason I haven’t watched it yet is not a matter of lack of interest, it’s a matter of motivation because I would have to watch it on the CN website either in my uncomfortable computer chair or over Chromecast getting up every 11 minutes to start the next one. and I usually am lazy dig in and build a nest with some activity while I watch TV. I could watch it on my tablet I guess...

Just realised that's the setting of the show I was watching while I replied to that post. Have you seen Fringe? :P
nope, I had a roommate who liked it in college but I never saw more than a few minutes at a time...(That reminds me of how I used to get all excited watching Bones, because while it nominally takes place in Washington DC, the establishing shots are from the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History which is one of my favorite places.)
