Cosmere Adults Hiding Easter Eggs

Call it a sorta sequel to the list where Cosmere kids did Easter Egg hunting. And Happy Easter!

1. MeLaan

MeLaan: It is so delightful to see the children children running around, having fun! MeLaan: They'll NEVER find the last egg, though. Heh, heh, heh. Marasi: ...It's inside your body, isn't it? MeLaan: Maaaaaybe. MeLaan: But don't worry! I'll turn myself transparent at the end. MeLaan: To make it fair for the children. Marasi: I can't decide if you being a dressed as a bunny is making this more horrifying or less...

2. Kaladin

Adolin: So...you didn't hide ANY of the eggs on the ground? Kaladin: Of course not! They're on roofs or cliffs or trees! Kaladin: Children love to be high up! Adolin: ... Kaladin: R-Right?

3. Adolin

Adolin: Eggs are boring--I hid knives! Kaladin: ... Adolin: T-They're sheathed!

4. Steris

Steris: ...So as you can see, I have five zones, into which children may be sorted according to both age and visual acuity. Steris: Not to brag, but Zone Five might even have some eggs that adults would struggle to find! Steris: Whereas in Zone One, the eggs are just sort of sitting there in the open. Steris: Do you want to see the charts? Wax: You know that I do!

5. Shallan

Shallan: All of my eggs are painted to blend into their environment! Shallan: Which would make this a fun and challenging egg hunt... Shallan: ...if not for my SPREN who are HUMMING LOUDLY in the location of EVERY EGG Pattern: Such delicious, eggy lies!

6. Dusk

Dusk: The skills these children learn through my egg hunt might one day save their life. Dusk: All of the eggs are not only hidden, but also trapped. Vathi: Dusk...please don't maim the children. Dusk: ... Dusk: Define "maim."

7. Szeth

Szeth: I hope you are pleased with the egg hunt I have prepared for the children. Child: Wow... Another plain white egg... Dalinar: You didn't paint the eggs? Szeth: You can paint eggs?

8. Sarene

Sarane: When I was a child, I of course did a grid search of the whole area, since that's the most strategic way to find the eggs. Raoden: [nodding] Sarene: And it always vaguely annoyed me when the distribution was bad. Raoden: [nodding] Sarene: But any child who does their own grid search in MY egg hunt will be rewarded due to my systematically even egg distribution! Raoden: Nice! Sarene: ...Did I think about this too hard? Raoden: In what way?

9. Starling

Starling: Egg hunts are so much fun!! My plastic eggs have AMAZING prizes inside too! Starling: Oh hey! Kid! You actually need to go THAT way. Starling: There are no eggs in that tree, friend! Maybe you should try looking in that patch of grass over there? Starling: Do you need any help? I can show you where the eggs are! Nazh: ...So how goes your resolution to let people do things for themeslves? Starling: Um....

10. Vasher

Child 1: Wow! This is the hardest egg hunt ever! Child 2: Right?? I haven't found a single egg yet! Child 3: Come on, guys, we can't give up! Kadash: ...You forgot to hide any eggs, didn't you? Vasher: "Forgot." Yes.
