“That’s a lot of memories. I mean, what is childhood but a series of regrets? Think about it, you’re young and new to the world, laid out at the mercy of people who have forgotten what it was like to be small. I can’t think of a single experience that I can’t look at now and wonder what the hell anyone was thinking letting that happen.

Not to mention, Marie’s managed to teach him discipline, how to cook, and a plethora of things she didn’t really need to-- All while maintaining a schedule and a (relatively) good attitude.
