I feel that my mind is a whole mess, in the sense that there seems to be no structure. Like, there are things apparently for others are monotonous and automatic and dont need to be thought about. I dont know how to get my life together, I cant self-manage because my mind is like an empty ocean where random things suddenly appear as flashes and go away as fast as they come. Is this feeling of lack of mental structure related to ADHD?
Yep. As I’ve posted before, executive dysfunction means we have to actively do what others are able to do passively.
Think motivation, for example. Others can self motivate as things come.. maybe not perfectly but they will have something they want to achieve. ADHDers will literally do nothing unless we actively think about it.
How you’re feeling is VERY common. I used to feel like that… and still do from time to time. Some call it their robot state and some their zombie state.
So the solution? It’s simple, manually create structure. Eat meals at the same time everyday. Consciously make time for your friends and hang out. Set aside times to do the work you HAVE to do.
You don’t need more motivation. You need a system that holds you together when everything else falls apart. Structure your calm so it’s not a mood — it’s a method. Protect your peace like it’s sacred. Because in the end, your clarity is your power.

It occurred to me yesterday while reading a little on the net about general semantics that ids could be considered an extensional device–not directly extensional in the 3-d sense, but on the road to it. They exhibit more reality corresponding structure than ordinary writing or ideation.
This morning’s diary entry: Scan0062
I’ve added a lot of structure to my mind–useful, engaging, meaningful…
