Mental health and seeking help
Hey to the readers reading this blog post or have stumble upon this page. I welcome you to this week's blog post. I'm inviting you all to learn something new today and if you are suffering from a mental health issue to seek help or talk to a trust worthy friend if it's getting out of hand and you fear the worst is yet to come...
Mental health is a struggle most of the society has being facing with for years on head. Some people never seek help or don't even realize that they are struggling with a problem that is affecting them daily, monthly or even yearly.
Mental health should not be taken lightly and should not be taboo to speak about or even to write about. In fact, mental health is something that people should feel warmly invited to open up about. It should be safe for people to say things like:
''Hey, I'm dealing with something mentally not physically.''
''I fear my anxiety is getting worse, can you help me calm down?''
''I tried to kill myself....''
''I keep hurting myself...''
''Can you just listen to me, it's not a joke. I'm thinking of suicide...''
''Hey, hear me out. I need help...So, help me.''
''I feel like my depression keeps getting worse as the days tick by. I fear it might be too late before I can seek help. I need you to make sure I stay on track and to give me some advice?’’
''Hey, you're sick too? So, we should seek help together.''
Please keep in mind that if these triggers anyone, you are to stop what you're doing. I need you to take deep breathes or to call someone you love and tell them how you feel or use them as a distraction from your temptations...for me.
If your hurting yourself, stop. Like right now. Don't waste your time when you're just going to end up feeling worse by them time you're done with what you are doing to your beautiful skin. And suicide? Is never the option. And if you're thinking about that, go and seek help professionally, like right this second... please.
Someone will listen to your rambles about what thinking about or what you're talking about or doing to yourself. Mental health is important just as much or even more important than physically health.
Please remember: It does get better and it will. You just have to push forward and get the help you know you need and people will listen and they will help you deal with your problem/s one step at a time.
