MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE~!
Also.. Holy wow you guys... How.. Why--... I was gone for ONE day, and when I come back, I notice I have 200+ beautiful butts following me?!? just-- what?! I'm still trying to grasp this fact, and my face is so red omg. I know it's just a number, but... WHEN DID IT GET SO HIGH?? Last I checked it was around 90 or smth.... holy poop. I'm so slow. Anyway, I got really happy and touched. Also, since I'm a sap around this time of year, I just really want to say thank you to everyone who has ever reached out to me, talked to me, said hi, asked me thing and just... Generally made my day. You guys have made me so happy this year, and I was not expecting that.
So as a small thanks, I decided to have the fishbutts show thanks as well. By being cute hurr hurr. A few people were curious as to how I would color them, as so, I did. Even though I'm very reluctant to coloring anything (cuz' I'm not too happy with how I color currently) but I did it anyway, just for you guys. Because I wanted to do something special for the holidays and because you all asked so nicely. <3
I'm so grateful for you guys, and for everyone who has encouraged me with all my art and silly ideas and just... Being kind in general. It makes me ridiculously happy, and I have you guys to thank for sharing smiles with me.

WELL. I have no excuses. I have been busy with alot. Sorry. I uhh... I know that this is short and horribly made with the paneling and story telling but yeah, this is just part one! There will be a second, and perhaps a third part depending on how it goes heh... heeeehhh....
Some bad excuse to draw cuddle-napping fishbutts, who got along just fine after MerJean finally stopped being suspicious and confused about MerMarco. MerMarco on the other hand, was nonstop throwing loving gestures at the grump butt from the moment that they met, to show his affection for the other mer. It was rather odd to MerJean, since he'd never gotten this kind of reaction meeting another mer, but after a while, he relaxed and let the other come closer to him. Mostly so that MerMarco would stop swimming around him constantly. Seriously, it was making him dizzy at how the other circled around him so much, the smile on his face never leaving him and his eyes locked on MerJean.
So after a while of MerMarco persuading the grumpy fishbutt, they bonded and then decided to nap. Napping like they are in the pic, is pretty normal for mergoldfish who get along, but MerMarco is being a bit more affectionate and protective of MerJean, since he can sense his unease and slight constant wary fear he carries.
oh and uh, if you are confused by what happened in the story uhh... They napped, Marco woke up and went up to the edge of his bowl to get Human!Jean's attention (Probably getting hungry and singing for food). But Jean wouldn't awnser his call and took too long, being distracted by talking to Human!Marco or smth. Thus, the lil' guy got annoyed (Jealous?) and sang louder after him. But... You shouldn't lean that far out, Marco bby. Not with slippery hands like yours...

Sooo.... I think sharing bowls will go well, yeah? Yeah, soo... the two goldfishbutts had completely different first impressions of sharing a bowl. Though... one of them was easily convinced to change their mind on the whole thing after a certain freckled fishie got to him. Yeah, MerJean was a bit wary and hostile since he hadn't been in the same water as another MerGoldfish before, but uh... MerMarco had other thoughts. He easily won the other over with that he wasn't going to hurt him what-so-ever, with an instant gesture of affection. Sooo... you can say that MerJean is more than confused about the whole situation, and MerMarco is more than happy about everything going on. Yep. I think this is going to be the start of something great. <3 Sorry this one is so short, but the next one is going to be pretty long! I mean... REALLY long... so it might take a bit longer to finish. Though I will be releasing it in 2 parts I think... Meanwhile, I might sneak some other doodles in and such~ But yeah! Thanks you guys! I'm still having a blast over here with all of this! Hope you guys enjoy more fishbutts~!
Does MerJean sing like MerMarco? Oh, wouldn't that be the cutest little courtship deal ever!!!!
Ahhh!! He does, but not nearly as much as MerMarco does. I explained in another ask that MerJean hurt his voice in an unknown injury from before he met human!Marco, and thus refrains from using his sing song voice alot of the time. It breaks and cracks involuntarily, and so, he’s a bit shy/ashamed/embarassed about it. But both Human!Marco and MerMarco are doing their best to get him to use his voice more! Mermarco especially~ <3I could imagine MerMarco trying to get Jean to sing with him, but he doesn’t get much outta him. So he starts doing silly sing song sounds and twirls to encourage him. In the end, get a cute broken squeaky sound out of Jean, which MerMarco finds adorable, but MerJean just wants to curl in on himself and hide forever. But MerMarco won’t let that happen, no no. After his small victory, he just wants to hear more of MerJean’s precious voice. <3

Yeessss... YESSSS. I HAVE DONE IT. *MANIC LAUGHTER* Ok, so I'm sure alot of you guys could guess what I was teasing at last time, and here it is! There's a Mini!MerJean Goldfish in the AU as well~! And who happens to be his owner? Why, none other but Human!Marco! Which was why he was just as stunned as Jean to see a 'real' person in the middle of the street who happens to look just like his pet goldfish... Crazy huh? I imagine they saw each other several times after that, and in the end one of them reached out to the other, because it was just too weird to keep going like that. And it got even weirder when they got to know that the other also had a goldfish who looked like... Ehum. SO! They got together to try and prove their point and make sure that they weren't crazy. And, well, Mini!MerMarco was pretty surprised too! Woops! Went on a ramble again! Sorry! But yeah! More is to come and I have a lot of ideas and things planned for future fishbutts... Mini!MerJean won't be in many of them, since the main focus is on MerMarco butt, but I have a few more planned with him. Also! Thank you guys so much for the kind asks and words lately! You have no idea how happy each message makes me and asjdgasdg--- yeah... wow. thanks, again. <3

The Jeankasa Shipper Vision / Shoujo version. Complete with pretty flowers, lots of pink, glowing things and sparkles.
I loved the original so much I coloured it here… but I also made this version when in call. I swear I spent a good ten minutes doing stupid stuff like this. I am a serious artist. Obviously.
