DUDE I SHOULD GET TO HANG OUT WITH YOU ALL THE TIME. We would day drink and talk about Stephen Amell. That’s the kinda life I want. :-)
I’m really kinda hoping I could come up and watch the s4 premiere with you. Not just for Arrow with one of my favorite fangirls or the Nocking Point wine, but for YOU, Miss Mer. :-)
I’m just gonna toss this out there. Why? It’s gnawing at me. I’ll feel better when I purge.
Guggenheim promised a big LL storyline that he can’t talk about yet. I believe he mentioned it involved Nyssa.
There was a Buzzfeed article that said, “In addition to Renee’s Hawkgirl, the show will star White Canary (Caity Lotz) and Black Canary (Katie Cassidy).” (X)
Typically, I wouldn’t pay it any attention, but it’s Buzzfeed. They tend to be “in the know” sooner than most outlets.
It’s pretty clear KC will be guest starring on Legends of Tomorrow. Here’s the first Buzzfeed article confirming it.
This other article did reference crossovers, so it’s entirely possible that’s all “starring” meant. Similar to how they would write “Staring Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak” when she guests on The Flash.
Still, crossovers can’t be that frequent. It seemed odd to mention KC in such a highlighted manner when referencing Legends. If they were simply listing the female actresses it’s best to stop at Renee and Caity. Or specify KC is a guest star. It was just...weird. Moving on.
John Barrowman said the following:
We start filming in July, season four — I just finalized my deal about a week ago. I’m very excited about going back, I can’t tell you anything because I do know a bit about what’s going to happen. But if you love Malcolm Merlyn, if you love Oliver Queen, if you love Thea Queen, if you love the Canary sisters, and I say that with a bit of a twist and a joke in it, you’re going to love what’s going to happen across the DC world.
Again, could simply be a crossover reference, but I found it pecular Barrowman highlighted The Canary sisters when asked about what was happening on Arrow.
Then there was this cast photo.
I know everyone was screaming about Barry being front and center but I was too focused on Laurel to care. LOL I found her position conspicuously close to the Legends cast. Especially Sara.
Then KC said this at SDCC...
Hmm...I anticipated LL playing a role in Legends but a “big role”? That’s interesting.
I have next to zero evidence to support this theory, but what the hell. It’s hiatus and I’m a little wacky. Well, I’m a lot wacky but y’all are use to it by now.
I think there is a chance, probably a mimimal one, but a least a chance Laurel is moving to Legends of Tomorrow. Is this wishful thinking? Ya damn straight it is. I think Laurel makes way more sense on that show. Her relationship with Sara can be explored more, especially if Sara comes back a little wonky.
The mid season premiere date bugs me. They probably just needed more time, but it would make sense if they are trying to launch an Arrow character off onto the new spin off. A character that is already established. A character who has a big storyline in Season 4. One that involves Nyssa.
I know Marc said Laurel wasn’t going anywhere, which could be true. Or Marc was trolling. It was a yes or no answer. Didn’t leave a lot of grey room and maybe nothing had been decided at that point. If he was remotely vague, it would spoil the surprise either way.
I know KC’s contract is made of gold and the writers are determined to explore the BC arc. It just feels like something is up. Something big. Maybe Laurel’s role in Legends is bigger than what we are anticipating. Like I said, wishful thinking, but I’m tossing it out there. Do with it what you will.
Shoutout to all the Arrow peeps in Philly this weekend for Wizard World and the Nocking Point Wine party! machawicket, youguysimserious, mersayseh, dettiot, and anyone else going: I hope Stephen Amell shows you his abs, and that you find out firsthand what he smells like. :D
Oliver swallowed. Maybe this wasn’t the great idea it had seemed like, at two o’clock this morning, laying in bed next to her. But he refused to ever take back his feelings when it came to her. And what he had said to her was so completely tied up in how he felt about her.
“I want to marry you,” he repeated. “I want us to go to the courthouse, just us, and get married.”
She blinked, looking up at him. There was that crinkle in her forehead, the one she got when she was trying to hack her way into a stubborn server or like that time he and John had tried to explain the infield fly rule. The one that indicated her complete and utter confusion. And that didn’t happen much, since the woman he loved was a certified genius.
So Oliver cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs stroking her cheeks. “I love you. I know it’s not the way most people do it: get married on their second first date. But how many people have second first dates at all? And--and we’re not like other people. We’re past dating, past figuring out if we might have something, like you do when you start dating.” He searched her face. “I . . . there’s no one else but you, Felicity. And we’ve already waited so long--I don’t want--”
“Oliver,” she whispered, bringing her hand up to rest against his lips. “Stop talking.”
His heart felt like it was plummeting to his shoes. God, he hoped she just wanted to wait. He could wait, he would wait forever, just as long as she--
“Yes.”
Now it was his turn to blink. “Yes?”
Felicity nodded, a smile appearing on her face. The smile that he felt like was his. “Yes. Let’s get married.”
If you mean am I answering previously received prompts, yep. If you’re asking if I’m accepting new prompts . . . sure, why not. I’ve got wine, after all. :-)
