no but imagine your dad just hired this guy to work for you whom you hate and after a few weeks of working for you, the two of you are starting to get along and then suddenly one night when you’ve dressed him in a silly hat someone tries to poison you but he calls them out and has to drink the poison himself and you watch as his body crashes to the floor. you feel your adrenaline spike as you rush to his side, leaning over his motionless body and you know in that moment you would go to great lengths to save him (over and over again)

Whumpee curls into themself as they grip their hair and try to stifle the flinch they let out at the sound of their name.

It's fine. It's fine, and they're okay, and they asked for this. Caretaker still seems reluctant to continue every time they do it though.

"Whumpee, maybe this is enough for toda-"

"No!" They shout, looking up at Caretaker through their hair with a pained expression. "It's- It's my name. It's mine, and I don't-" Whumpee grips their hair tighter and grits their teeth, "I don't want to be scared of my own name forever Caretaker. It's mine. Whumper doesn't get to take that from me."

Whumpee's expression goes wild and desperate, choking on their words. "I won't let them take my fucking name from me. Not again. Never again."

i am going to hold your hand when i say this. but there's probably like. five or six aftg characters who have visible abdominal muscles

Love the idea of the sheriff, Scott, and Melissa (and later Derek and Allison and the others) serving as Stiles' moral compass because 'doing this will make your friends sad' is more effective than 'doing this is a felony offense'

Stiles isn't too mean to the other kids at school because it makes Scott disappointed

And he doesn't commit unnecessary misdemeanors because if he gets caught his dad always looks really upset

And he can't put himself in reckless danger because Melissa is always very sad when he winds up at the hospital with a new injury

Allison takes responsibility as an Argent and wants to protect others, and Stiles begrudgingly agrees because he wants to look out for her

Derek and Scott keep taking in stray shifters, and Stiles is the dad who 'didn't want the puppy' but also he always makes sure Liam has a ride home from practice

The only person who never tries to encourage Stiles to be 'good' is Peter but that's because he likes encouraging the shenanigans

ever look at a character and wonder how they're still alive. like it's honestly funny bc HOW after ALL THAT are you still here. it's like microwaving an ant

you know what i adore about the whole "No answers out of me, I said, not when it comes to him"? it's that Prometheus shares so much about himself, not everything, and he's still fairly closed off, but he explains his reasoning, he answers questions a fair amount, ect.

it's the whole "You're better off demanding truths from the Titan standing by my side, who speaks them willingly." he DOES! he might be very vague about some things, but he talks a lot and as far as we know honestly about many things

but when it comes to Heracles, he respects his silence and that he doesn't want people to know things!

and Heracles, in turn, makes conversation for him; it's pretty clear he's not one for talking much otherwise! and he says as much when Prometheus points out they can just attack!

they geniuinely adapt to each other and i love it! now excuse me i must scream into a pillow for thirty minutes
