My very silly Metal Battlevest now has lights on it! Handy for dark venues and festivals!
I recently extended the switch and battery pack cables so I can more easily reach them. Before it was just in the shoulder and awkward to reach.
For those wondering these are just those string lights you put in bottles. For extra handiness they’re wired in parallel so after I sewed them to the Mac Sabbath patch I was able to cut them down to size. Who knows maybe if I come across more lights I’ll add those and give Judas Priest some love. I don’t wanna be too bright tho so I’m more interested in those EL lights that don’t give off too much light but just glow.
The whole thought process behind this project has been “Sick and Silly” so it’s been really fun to just do weirder/unique stuff with it from the base itself to the Shoulder Pads, and to the extension of the jacket been lots of fun
