seeding the corpse

the major duty of the sisters of our holy lady of decay is to deal with the dead, which they do by composting them.

i haven't gotten the sisters theology of the soul nailed down, but im thinking there's something about the compost being used to grow food, and the soul being divided to all those who eat it. communion-style.

to expedite the composting process, fungal wood is inserted into wounds cut into the hands, feet and side, stigmata-style.
