And we're still alive! Accomplished everything above ground for act 1 besides talking to Voss.
Waiting to talk to Voss later once I got more experience. In case we fail the deception role with Lae'zel. I do plan on using disguise self to make her look like a githyanki to up my odds. I am not sure if it does help, but I can't see why it would hinder me.
Next stop is the Underdark. Hoping her being duergar will help me minimize the fighting with the other duergar. I will attest that she is not a good person by no means, but sometimes doing the bad choices make things easier. I'm here to beat honour mode. lol
Currently lv 4, almost lv 5. Decided against getting the hair from Ethel. While the +1 would be helpful, her million forms all using ray of sickness and gods knows what else sounded like a nightmare. So, used arcane lock on the stairs so she couldn't flee and cornered her. She doesn't use her legendary actions as her AI was more focused on the stairs. I should have attacked the redcaps back in the swamp instead of doing it in one fight, it got close where I swore we were going to black out with how hard they hit.
Fights I am nervous over are mostly in gymforge. I think I am not too worried about the bulette if we keep away from the ledges as it can knock you off. I am going to make some notes on how to survive the Nere and Gaurdian fights. I have no shame to use the hammer, just debating how I can ensure it stays near the hammer is going to be important.
Optional fights I am ruminating over the Spider Matriarch and Bernard... I want to fight them for the experience, but since they stopped letting you push the Matriarch off into the Underdark makes me unsure how I want to approach this. Her legendary action is about her babies getting attacked, so that helps so long we don't attack the babies. I'd need to restrict the opportunity attack reaction... Trying to think if there is a way to paralyze her...? So, we'll see how it goes.
