Shadowhunters: I have a “Jace Protection Squad” fic planned that’s 5 times Jace got kidnapped and 1 time he didn’t. Who’s surprised? Show of hands?

Shadowhunters/Vampire Academy: A fic where Sebastian fucks off to mundane world and ends up in Moroi world at a party in St. Vlad’s where he runs into Christian and the rest is very complicated, twisted and romantic history...

Marvel/MacGyver: A fic where Tony Stark is Angus’ dad but obviously he doesn’t know. Neither of them does. It will certainly be MacDalton and I’m not sure about Tony, but there will be a lot of father-son bonding and badassery.

Wow, Tumblr moved its butt and actually unflagged my blog @asflowersfade. Interesting. But not really exciting anymore? I mean, I made myself comfortable over here already, so... 

I think I’ll stay here and keep @asflowersfade as a back-up blog, just in case they flag this one as explicit for a change. Call me paranoid but I don’t trust them anymore.

Aaaaand here I am with a prompt. ;) And, since I saw the NBC starters, here's a combination between two of them + Jalec, if you'd like. ^.^ One: “There are few who deny at what I do I am the best, for my talents are renowned far and wide.” and two “I have swept the very bravest off their feet.” ;D

It would have been so easy to resent Jace's self-confidence. As the Lightwood heir, Alec had been struggling under the weight of his parents' expectations for as long as he could remember. Then Jace came simply strutting into their lives, taking Maryse and Robert's approval as nothing but his due, his skills unmatched in their age group.

Despite himself, Alec couldn't help but be drawn towards the golden boy like a moth to a flame.

He wasn't the only one. Being the center of Jace's attention made people feel like being bathed in the glow of the sun, and Alec could see why most didn't bother looking closer. Alec, however, did look past the light into the shadows lurking behind it, into the secret corners of Jace's soul, to the pain he hid so well.

The first time Alec reached out, offering comfort, Jace looked at him with such surprise, such vulnerability, it melted the very last of Alec's envy. On the outside, Jace might be loud and brash, but with Alec he could be quiet and soft, fitting perfectly into Alec's arms.

To the world, Jace was everything a Shadowhunter should be. To Alec, he was so much more.

How did they not know this? BBC’s budget for just about anything is so so tiny when compared to, say, USA’s television that it’s a miracle that they can do what they do.

I have absolutely no idea, but here we are. A bunch of people are apparently calling the Sherlock showrunners blatant liars for stating that obvious fact just because the show managed to rope in, say, a helicopter and an aston martin on its limited budget. The BBC’s just got people really good at making the most mileage with their miniscule money (oh hey, alliteration). Doesn’t mean they’ll ever come close to US TV or god help us Hollywood production value, that’s just outside the price range.

Nah, the BBC’s just generally very good at knowing its budget restrictions and making them strengths, such as how Doctor Who has always favored talk to action, and been stronger for it.
