Just finished the #danceofdeath from #reaperminiatures #bones4 kickstarter. Modelled the dueling dragons after betta fish, two I used to have named Arioch and Straasha (because I'm a nerd) who hated each other, their tanks were next to each other and I had to put a board between them because they flared themselves into exhaustion. used a lot of #micapowder and #colorshift paint to get the shimmery fish scale look for their scales and wings, I'm quite pleased with the effect. #miniature #miniaturepainting #artofthemini #miniatureart #painting #dragon #bettafish #fantasyart #artistsoninstagram #acrylicpainting #monster https://www.instagram.com/p/CNTcNXbgNan/?igshid=1g4zjf1p0kxgh

“Luthiel”

Ooak custom made sculpture, commission ed by the awesome Lunewen (DA), It’s the second piece i done for her as she is super kind and great to work with! (Plus she has such awesome and regal original characters which are a treat to create! <3) 

Btw it’s color scheme is so tropical!! *Yum!* 

I created Luth with polymer clay over a wire/foil frame, painted with mica powder and grinded pastels (and a wee bit of acrylics) Eyes were cast from clear resin and whiskers from an old paint brush.
