Sylvester McCoy's Doctor regenerated into Paul McGann's Doctor in Doctor Who: The Movie on May 14, 1996. After being shot by criminals, the Doctor was taken to a hospital, where his alien biology caused Dr Grace Holloway to accidently kill him. The Master also took over a new body and was protrayed by Eric Roberts. Doctor Who: The Movie was a failed pilot for an American Produced series. While the series didn't come to be, McGann cotinued to protray his Doctor in audio form and eventually in cameos in specials and later episodes of the revived Doctor Who series. October Shock & Schlock Day 23 - Scarecrows (1988)

The science fiction movie Alien Nation premiered on October 7, 1988. According to the story, Earth made contact with aliens, known as the Newcomers, in 1988. The events of the movie took place in 1991. James Caan played police detective Matthew Sykes and was partnered with Mandy Patinkin's Newcomer Sam Francisco. The film was written by Farscape creator Rockne S. O'bannon. It went on to span a TV series and several TV movies. Brian Thompson was the only actor to appear in both the movie and the TV version. The pilot for Harsh Realm premiered on October 8, 1999. Fox, happy with the success of the X-Files, granted the green light for the Chris Carter created show, but then pulled the plug after only 9 episodes. The show centered around a virtual reality world called Harsh Realm. Creators of the comic Harsh Realm (James D Hudnall and Andrew Paquette) sued Fox for not receiving any credit. WATCHING

It's like predator was replaced by supernatural Zombie scarecrows killing a group of criminal soldiers who suck compared to the group of special forces guys from predator.

And the acting is just awful.

But this is the choice I made. I thought it would have some rustic spookiness, it was more bad slasher than anything.
