The Last Knight and the Rogue's Home by Hilari Bell

I think if you follow me you know I'm not much of a shipper. (Aro Ace) But this was the first piece of media where I went "Oh, I understand why you would ship them... I don't... but NOW I get why you would."

I also bring this up, because if you like my fanfic, this was the book that got me into fanfic in the first place. I did a scene that was the first fanfic I wrote. I have an idea for a fic that would improve the last book, and introduce a character or substory I kept waiting to show up that never did.

okay so i finished “Lady’s Pursuit” and i loved it so much and i was so glad that for ONCE IN HIS FUCKING LIFE michael did the seasonable thing for like one moment. he’s growing. he’s learning. he’s gonna stop almost getting killed/almost getting his friends killed one of these days i swear.
