Works in progress [Rejected] || Dear Hoshi series

First: collage (coloured + textured paper and old drawings)

Second: photoshop only

Third: scans from 1st collage + photoshop

I realized that after making these collages, I didn’t expand out my creativity. My mind was stuck to one thing and this was the result. I realized knew I could do better. But don’t get me wrong, I loved making these during reading week. It just won’t be continued in this project. ;;

After the mini critique and looking at my fellow classmates’ works, I found out that for this assignment, all 3 of my works were all the same (tweaked in some ways) while everyone else’s had something different for each. I realized afterwards that this was my unnoticed habit of mine. My previous assignment I did pretty much the exact same art works 8 times (with different canvases). After having a talk with my professor, I was allowed to do a redo in both my 2nd and 3rd collages. It was also a good thing that I figured this out early on this project otherwise I would have been way behind.
