This peach robe à 𝒍𝒂 𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒏ç𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 recently made an appearance in the 2025 𝑽𝒐𝒈𝒖𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅: 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒚𝒘𝒐𝒐𝒅 fashion show, where pieces of fashion, inspired by film costumes, were interspersed with real film costumes. This gown, worn by @synnoveardal in the fashion show, was originally designed by James Acheson for Michelle Pfeiffer as Madame De Tourvel in the 1988 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑳𝒊𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔. But did you know that this gown was also worn in several other productions over the years? It’s most well-known for its reuse in the 1993 film 𝑯𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔, where it was worn by Vinessa Shaw as Allison. Want to know where else it was worn? Find out on our website.
