📖 Fave book I used to read so much before starting uni and my favourite book usually was the one i was currently reading XD But one, of about a dozen, book i always enjoy re-reading is Momo by Michael Ende. It is a children’s book but it is also for adults because of the deeply philosophical, and bittersweet story and the wisdom it holds.
📝 Fave quote How to choose one???? Currently i can’t get the line “Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose” out of my head. It is a line from Kris Kristofferson’s well known song Me And Bobby McGee.
☠ Something that angers you The current climate in some (internet) spaces that is centered around purity/cancel culture and black-and-white morality without any nuance or critical thinking. I’d rather not elaborate this here because I can already feel my blood pressure rising :’‘)
🎁 Best gift you ever received and why Oooof. I have received a few very different gifts from various people that I treasure a lot. @red-hot-chili-tiefling has gifted me some pastel chalks two years ago and while i don’t use them as often as i’d love to, they’re really awesome and the colours are beautiful. @marquisevonobst has gifted me a book about historical explorers in the Americas that is one of my favourites when i feel like reading non-fiction. My mum and grandpa always manage to gift me stuff i don’t expect but can really use in that moment. Let’s not even mention the awesome handknitted gifts i receive from mum each Christmas. A Christmas without socks isn’t Christmas, and considering that I usually wear my clothes until they break/tear, it says a lot about the socks’ good quality that i only need one new pair each year.
