i was completely unaware of what was happening so thank you for bringing it to my attention

for anyone who might not know what’s going on, you can read about it here and here (i've been searching for a more complete recap on the matter but apparently defamation laws in thailand are very strict so everyone is treading carefully)

as for the artists you mentioned, while i have my thoughts on the matter, i also fully believe that now it’s not the time to focus on them. it’s not a coincidence that the perpetrator used mild’s account, someone who has tons of friends and connections in the entertainment industry, to issue his statement, because now everyone’s attention has shifted to the celebrities who liked the post and follow her instead of himself and the victim. don’t get me wrong, i think we should absolutely hold all these artists accountable, because calling enablers out helps challenge the environment that allows abusers to avoid the consequences of their actions, however im seeing way too many people talk about them and forget about the actual victim

psi is a LGBTQ+ activist, an environmental activist, and a palestine activist, so i hope everyone can go to his page and show support to someone who has received none from the people in his life who were actually supposed to protect him

i really hope he receives the justice and fairness he deserves, even if it won't help erase his traumatic experiences, at least it'll help bring light to this issue as well as highlight those who are involved

and for everything else, all im gonna say for now is that when it comes to being a fan of celebrities, we have to set our own boundaries, whether financially, morally, or otherwise

Psi Scott is a Queer activist in Thailand who has come forward with the devastating news of events that had taken place during his childhood -- by both his nanny and older brother. His grandfather, was the president of Singha (very popular brand), left him an inheritance and properties, which is reportedly one of the reasons his mother is suing him. [source]

Pi Scott is his older brother who is married to famous actress Mild Lapassalan (who is pregnant). He posted his two apology videos on her ig and facebook account. His IG account is currently deactivated and one of the videos is gone.

Part 5 is really good. She really puts a perspective of why the celebs (Tay, Off, Zee, Podd, Sammy, Milli) would have liked the one post of a property dispute court document without knowing the rest of the context and why a lot of them put "family matters" in their apologies. (I am unsure if tay or off liked one of the apology videos)

While the news about Psi Scott expands and the focus shifts away from him to his abuser's wife and her friends, I think it's important to recognize Psi for more than the abuse he's suffered.

Like every person who's ever been abused, he's more than his trauma, and I think if we talk more about him as a person, we can keep the focus on him and the justice he deserves where it belongs.

Psi is a queer man, a marine conservationist, and persistently pro-Palestinian, and by learning more about him, I think we can also augment support for the same causes.
