"Once you get this you have to say 5 nice things about yourself publicly and then send it to 10 of your favourite followers. Thinking good thoughts about yourself is hard but it will make you feel better so give it a go, for the sake of spreading positivity."
I'm articulate. (Mostly.)
I'm level-headed in stressful situations. (Like natural disasters...)
I'm apparently comfortable to sleep on. (Children and cats agree.)
I'm approachable. (Everyone talks to me. Whether I want them to or not.)
I have an excellent memory. (Unless you want me to bring something home from the store. Then text me while I'm there or you're not getting whatever it is you wanted.)

My Questions to You:
Do you prefer books or their movie adaptations? - It really depends. I've had a few occasions where the book wasn't as good as the movie but that's certainly in the minority. The best example for me is "The Chocolate War" by Robert Corimer. It's an amazing book, but the film is even better. My default setting is hoping that the movie is at least representational of the source material. The absolute worst movie adaptation was "The Power of One" - based on the novel by Bryce Courtenay. It's a gorgeous, powerful book and the film makers got NOTHING right. My Mom hadn't been to the movies in almost two decades but she wanted to go the theater to see it because it was our favorite book. I'd only seen my Mom cry twice before - this was the third time. It just ripped the soul out of the book. (Yeah, still very angry...)
What personality traits (if any) do you have in common with your favourite characters from any franchise? - I can't think of any. I'm drawn to brave, outspoken, not easily cowed, sarcastic, smart, adventurous characters. I'm none of those things.
Are there any fandoms that you’re a part of where you like the source material but stay away from the actual fandom? - I'm not active with Doctor Who fandom and I've been in love with the show since I was a teenager.
What are you most scared of? - Me. I'm constantly paranoid that I've upset someone, said the wrong thing, done the wrong thing. Not worthy of being included in stuff. I'm alone a lot so I spend a lot of time trapped in my head.
What things do you hope to have done by the time you’re 30? - I'm well past 30 and still haven't done much with my life. What I wanted to go before I turned 30 was to move to Los Angeles, which I did do for a few years before I had to come back to Northern California and take care of my Mom.
BBC Sherlock or Elementary? - Sherlock. No interest at all in Elementary.
If you could pick one person from your real life to stay with you during a zombie apocalypse, who would it be and why? - If my Mom were still alive, I'd choose her. She was practical and level-headed, she was mechanically inclined, she knew how to use power tools and she could cook.
A talent you wish you had. - I wish I could play the guitar.
All-time favourite ice cream flavour? - I don't have an all-time favorite. I like mint chocolate chip, coffee with Heath Bar bits, Phish Food... depends on my mood.
Rose Tyler or River Song? - Neither. I liked them both at the beginning, but by the time they left they'd worn out their welcome with me.
All-time favourite movie? - Again, I can't even pick a favorite comedy. It's not that I'm wishy-washy (except that I am), I just really love a lot of movies. Here's a tiny list: Animal Crackers (1930), Singing in the Rain (1952), The Thin Man (1934), Harold and Maude (1971), Emma (1996), The Princess Bride (1987), National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), Young Frankenstein (1974), A Hard Day's Night (1964)...
My questions for you:
What movie are you looking forward to coming out?
Who is your favorite writer?
What is your favorite snack?
What is your favorite article of clothing?
What is your favorite Whedon TV show?
If you could visit anywhere, where would you like to go?
Have any of your OTP’s been canon?
What website do you visit the most? (Besides Tumblr, of course.)
Recommend a movie that you love to me.
What’s one of your pet peeves?
Tell me about a terrible movie that you’ve seen more than once and whether or not you think I should watch it.

Have you ever read the mangas Night School or Dramacon? You draw a lot like the lady who does those if you haven't, may be worth looking into. (Btw, loving the seedwolf)
I had flicked through Dramacon a few years back, and I didn't know about Night School until I googled it (it ended up giving me a LOT of manga porn, though, so I had to assume which one you meant, haha).
I'd been way into manga years and years ago, but I had to stop reading as much when I was faced with both a job and full-time study, which left very little free time. I've been drawing ever since I could remember, though, and I usually put more effort into my good drawings (see my Nogitsune picture) but most of the time I'm just lazy, ahaha TwT. I also really really like drawing chibis, so I guess that's a good thing? But thanks for the recommendations! ♥
mild-madness replied to your post: Roughly 9, I think
Ah! Thank you!
....and yeah, that is a deterrent. I don't have that much to spend on a single lipstick right now, even without including postage and packaging.
Sacher Torte, Upside-down cake, Tiramisu
Sacher Torte – Are you out to anyone? (It’s okay if you’re not!)
My family knows, and I don't make a secret of it, a few people from my school know. Idk that I'd call it being out so much as not particularly trying to stay in.
Upside-down cake – Could you imagine yourself not being asexual?
The more time that passes since I figured out my asexuality, the less I can imagine myself being anything else. For the longest time I wanted to 'fix' it, to stop being asexual. But now I'm comfortable with it and it's just a fundamental part of who I am. It's like trying to imagine myself with a different face.
Already did tiramisu
