My SGA canon begins and ends with The Elizabeth Weir show, and things/characters are only interesting to me in that context.  I like Teyla, John, and Ronon, but I kind of have no interest in seeing them outside of a plot that also involves Elizabeth Weir.

It was...mediocre?  They did a fair bit of backstory for Elizabeth, but some of it I had issues with, which we can discuss in more detail after you've read it.

oh id love to read it! So long as Elizabeth dosent get screwed over again…

She's alive at the end of the book, and it seems like they're setting up a multi-book arc involving her.  I have no idea where it will lead, but I'll probably skim the Elizabeth bits of it, at the very least.
