The Master threatens to use the Keller Machine on Jo if the Doctor doesn’t cooperate. But- would it even work on her? She doesn’t have a single malicious thought in her head she is the kindest person in the whole show, shouldn’t it backfire if it was used on her?? She has plenty of things she’s afraid of, sure, but she doesn’t want to hurt anyone, she can do no wrong, how would a machine designed to extract evil thoughts work on someone with no evil thoughts??
