I've always loved the Mini Menace Ladybug covers ever since I first saw them, and i always used to redraw them, but I haven't done that for years. Probably because my artstyle is more complex than it used to be.

When does the mini-menace date back too? Because from the 2011 lore bible, Chat Noir is a teenager with the power to bring bad luck to anyone he touches (but not himself, seemingly). He wanted to get rid of it, like Felix, but I don't remember if he needed Ladybug to do that.

I don’t know. It’s basically from before he was even pitching this show.

All we really know about the Mini Menace era is that it was the very original concept that mostly consisted of Astruc copying or downright tracing existing comic book art for a bunch of mock-up covers for a hypothetical Ladybug hero. These covers featured a black cat -costumed character with noticeable stubble. This is the only time we’ve seen a version of Cat Noir that’s not Marinette/Marietta’s age, so I think this black cat had nothing to do with the matched-pair concept that would come later, and the decision to deage Cat Noir came pretty early into the planning.

I want this so baaaad lb not for kids, Marietta is young adult, and Nathan as well (I believe it could be Chat noir's first name before Félix and Adrien) yes, and lb and cn aren't partners but what if they unite to defeat a common enemy?
