A lot of canon characters recently have been known to titan shift, but I still personally don’t see it working in OC characters.

So if he had an ambition while picking at his skin, even if it was small, he’s shift. (Eren once shifted after chewing his hands and reaching for a dropped spoon)

Also I personally feel he’s too close to the 104th trainee squad despite not training with them.

I could understand him being friends with a few of them if his squad and their squad worked together once or twice, but I feel most of them would be acquaintances.

I also feel that his bad habits are things that most people do when they’re stressed out. If you added a few others that were more so different, like he loves to argue when he has the chance or something like that instead of “argumentative at times” don’t make all of them extreme, but they’e a bit too little of bad habits.

With his childhood fueling his ego, he could be boastful as well, and a bit too egotistical.

He could also be spiteful towards people who abandon others since his father did that to him. 

Also with him being argumentative and bossy, I’d imagine his teamwork would go down a bit.

And I’m not too sure if they have contacts in the time of Attack on Titan, so if I were you, I’d either give him glasses or say that his eyesight is slightly lower than average, but still okay enough for him to see what he needs to.

All in all, the titan shifting isn’t the worst I’ve seen and his skills are pretty balanced out. I don’t have anything MAJOR to say is wrong with his character and you did a good job with him. ^^
