DIY ORGANIC MIRACLE GROW: 5 RECIPES THAT WILL MAKE YOUR ORGANIC GARDEN GROW

Many people who garden do not like to use commercial products to fertilize their plants. They prefer natural ingredients. Green is in when it comes to gardening. For those of you…you are in luck. 

Here are 5 versions of a home made plant fertilizer. 

1: DIY ORGANIC MIRACLE GROW

ingredients: 1 gallon of water 1 tbsp epsom salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp of Household ammonia Mix all ingredients together and use once a month on your plants.

2: COMPOST TEA

Get a clean glass jar. Add water to the jar. Keep it on your counter. Whenever you use eggs, crunch up the shells and put them into the jar. The same goes for coffee ground. Put them into the jar. Once you have quite a bit of this mix, add more water, shake and let it sit for a while. It will need to sit for quite a while and you will need to shake it every day. Do not keep the jar in direct sunlight. After about a week, strain the mix and strain it though a paper towel into another bottle. That is all there is to it. Just the strained “compost tea” fertilizer to add to your plants.

3: WEED COMPOST TEA

Similar to the coffee/tea version but you use weeds. Don’t use any weeds that have been treated with herbicide. Place the weeds in a jar with rain water. Cover and place in the sun. It will smell really foul, but in a week you will have your “weed compost tea.” This mixture is far more effective than miracle grow and will last the entire season in the ground.

4: EPSOM SALT FERTILIZER

This is the perfect DIY fertilizer for your houseplants, peppers, roses, potatoes, and tomatoes. The reason for this because Epsom salt contains sulfate and magnesium, two important minerals needed by these plants. Ingredients 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt 1 gallon of water. Mix well and add to your plants once a month when you water.

5: FRESH WATER FISH TANK FERTILIZER

This has similar effects that fish emulsion fertilizer does. It doesn’t require any labor at all. Just save all the dirty fish tank water and use it for watering the plants. Fish water contains nitrogen and other important nutrients that the plants need. NOTE: SALT AND BRACKISH WATER CAN NOT BE USED AS FERTILIZER

Well we’ll finally breaking down and showing you my #outdoorgrow that is going way worse then Last years, kind of. So I didn’t prepare shot really for this grow and I’m now using fam #miraclegrow which ch actually is surprising me. These have not gotten fed since I put them in the ground. Fed them some miracle grow about a week ago and they blew up 💥 so we’ll get something out of this for sure. Just pulled a couple males 😞 but that’s what you get when your not running fems which I should have 🤦‍♂️ but we do have 2 auto fems of the marshmallow gobstoppers and 🎶 😇 🎶 🎺 we have one big beauty and she sits on the compost pile I started awhile back. 🤩 so we know what we need to do for next years grow… 1000000000000000% every year it’s different. Last year we did pots… year before that was the ground but feeding nutrients regularly. This year 🤷‍♂️ fuck me all I can say. 😂 but it was actually really good… experience is everything in life I don’t care how many times you read something or someone tells you something a million times…. Some September Green Things 💚🥬🥒🥦 Much to Chad's displeasure, my Caraillie (bitter melon) is doing great!!😂 He don't know bout good food steups!! 🤣 The cabbages are starting to shape up, and my bell peppers are finally fruiting, had a long battle with aphids and leaf miners 😥 From now on I think I'll plant the habaneros in grow bags, I've never seen them produce like this before!
