so something about Max being a white rabbit for Holly-Alice, or something about Max being led by evil someone who’s also a white rabbit (obsessed with clocks and having a pocket watch, leading everyone in his lair) or being an alter-ego of this someone summing up them both as white rabbits as they are pretty much one entity (and once again something about doppelgängers)

There’s no possible scenario where I wouldn’t recognise the OST from the movie of David Fincher, The Game (1997) (but there was a scenario where I didn’t make a big deal of it before, and I should’ve!)

Yes, you read it right. Alice in Wonderland’s rabbit. Yes, in the very first episode of Stranger Things!

Does anyone still have any questions whether the Duffer Brothers did plan all these Alice’s mirror twists for the ending of their show?

And if you do, I’ll add a bunch more words about the movie mentioned above. (And Istg it is one of the biggest conformitygate proofs for me atm!)

⚠️ Spoilers for “The Game” (1997), a movie I’d definitely recommend to watch first, it’s amazing!

So yes, while I could assume that the movie is not connected, and it’s just the OST that sounded here and there, big deal, I’m, on the opposite, now pretty sure it IS. Because The Game IS the movie about the ARG! Where the main character needs to find out whether things happening to him are real or not.

Now when I connected these two dots, it blew me away! It’s 100% paralleled! And this song here is because of Alice and because of the Game (and ig in The Game it is used for the same reason).

So, ST quoted Alice and quoted the Matrix, while the Matrix quoted Alice. And both, ST and the Matrix quoted Oz.

Changing of clothes and hairstyles in the simulation? (clothesgate) Bonus: the reference for depicting void in ST.

Blue meets yellow in the west? Time being a geographical area, where you can travel? Idk, something about these symbols attracts my attention (I mean the clock’s resemblance of a compass)

I must say it’s wild that the epilogue literally starts with this wall. I saw that some people recognised the wall as a pattern on Mike’s sweater. And what a coincidence: the Matrix characters discover themselves being trapped the exactly same way.

So technically I added two different themes here (bc of the image limits and bc they kinda match).

1) Embracing the truth about yourself

First two picture lines are directly paralleled, which makes Neo and Will powerful (left corner) and realising they are both “the chosen ones”.

2) Energy of love

Mike and the kiss scene are paralleled for me bc of the light which goes wild in the Matrix, when Neo returns back to life through the power of love + Mike is saved bc of the power of love. And both scenes are strongly energised, culminating. So these two are examples of a revelation about yourself and — literally about feelings and truth (in the Matrix it’s a revelation about Neo being the One, or about Trinity’s feelings, about their reciprocated love; in ST it’s Mike’s emotions going wild, his adoration and admiration).
