Robin’s broadcast starts with a frame with Holly who, as we know, in her orange jacket represents Mike, who’s also in the shot, but side-lined.

(characters and their doppelgängers, so to say)

Now, the actual shot after Holly\Mike paralleling the broadcast is Nancy driving the car, and her frame does look like the frame with Vickie (driving an orange car, and even their sleeves look alike!)

and here… 👇 Jonathan kinda looks like Robin?

and this shot 👆is quite insane! For postures, hair and clothes style, it’s like they are one character.

Now to Nancy’s style there:

this shot suspiciously reminds me of this one 👇how come Robin was just sitting next to Nancy (seen in the shot above) but in the next they are separated by Jonathan who looks like Robin? Robin is out of the frame with jancy the same way Will is hidden behind m11. ⬇️ another displacement ? ⬇️

What made Nancy and Jonathan so hot in between that they left their jackets to put them on in the next shot?

something something about Karen having her clothes changed very fast and for nothing

You wanna tell me she was gonna take a bath and that’s why she had her nightie on? I’d believe it better, be it a robe. Ok, forget this, but heels?

I agree, it is in character for her to dress up like this. But it doesn’t make sense for her to come upstairs barefoot fully dressed with just one last glass of wine (she ended the bottle and left), then change to a nightie and heels just to enter her bathroom and then undress again? Why would she do it? And more importantly when did she do it? Because according to events in Holly’s room and Ted’s game, all of this happens really fast simultaneously, so that Karen doesn’t even finish this glass of hers which she carries from the kitchen. Plot holes or wtf was that?

Purple trio 💜

In the epilogue we have three characters wearing purely purple, let me introduce them to you:

but only Erica wears it as her second option, the first one looks like Will’s Truman’s shirt:

for Mike and Joyce it’s their first ones preceding Joyce’s jacket and Mike’s graduation gown (however, I’m not sure whether her jacket can be considered “the 2nd outfit” bc of her purplish sleeves?)

and then we know that Mike’s 3rd look is his basement blue shirt; but I’m still not sure whether Joyce has a different one, the lighting in Enzo is quite dark, so it seemed that her cardigan is maroon, but probably it is still the same one.

Nevertheless, Mike and Joyce still have two things in common: 1) they’re the only characters whose first epilogue appearance is accompanied by purple shirts and 2) they both have a near-woke-up scenes:

The tropes hint that after such facial expressions a revelation should follow. The same tropes claim that if it hasn’t proceeded yet, the feeling of eeriness will become even denser until it finally happens after all (if your characters are not the 80s slasher’s inhabitants, of course…)

If it’s true and purple doesn’t mean that these characters are dead (which could also be in an option for Joyce having just one? piece of clothes, and another one being associated with funerals; however, if Joyce wears black, than she is a grieving person at someone’s funeral, not the deceased one) then Hopper most likely is, especially with phrasing things this way.

(The theory also aligns with El being alive bc Mike question reality in which she’s dead, while Joyce question weird wording of here-alive Jim. Then the opposite truth must be correct one)

! btw, Hopper has changed his clothes for Enzo, which makes me question Joyce’s look a bit more. Or maybe it’s still a different cardigan after all

That it’s Mike who asks for beaming him up!!!

My point about Mad Max although still stands, MM are still stressed on the shirt, so she must be involved in it. Maybe she fr will help Mike the way she was helping Holly (real or not real Max is another question atp)

Matrixgate (Wake up, Mike!)

So, ST quoted Alice and quoted the Matrix, while the Matrix quoted Alice. And both, ST and the Matrix quoted Oz.

Changing of clothes and hairstyles in the simulation? (clothesgate) Bonus: the reference for depicting void in ST.

Blue meets yellow in the west? Time being a geographical area, where you can travel? Idk, something about these symbols attracts my attention (I mean the clock’s resemblance of a compass)

I must say it’s wild that the epilogue literally starts with this wall. I saw that some people recognised the wall as a pattern on Mike’s sweater. And what a coincidence: the Matrix characters discover themselves being trapped the exactly same way.

And tell me it’s not the scene that we’re awaiting from the finale where someone will crash out and because of his love will return his beloved from the dead?

Revelation

So technically I added two different themes here (bc of the image limits and bc they kinda match).

1) Embracing the truth about yourself

First two picture lines are directly paralleled, which makes Neo and Will powerful (left corner) and realising they are both “the chosen ones”.

2) Energy of love

Mike and the kiss scene are paralleled for me bc of the light which goes wild in the Matrix, when Neo returns back to life through the power of love + Mike is saved bc of the power of love. And both scenes are strongly energised, culminating. So these two are examples of a revelation about yourself and — literally about feelings and truth (in the Matrix it’s a revelation about Neo being the One, or about Trinity’s feelings, about their reciprocated love; in ST it’s Mike’s emotions going wild, his adoration and admiration).
