Azure Bay, the crystal clear beach and vacation hotspot for trainers and tourists staying at the resort city of Coumarine, was supposed to have a rare treat in store for it's visitors. A pod of Lapras were supposed to be passing by at any moment, the once endangered Pokémon now in the midst of a miraculous comeback. But...the beauty of nature was cut short due to one grisly scene.

A Lapras and her calf were washed up on the shore, the mother grievously injured with large, unfamiliar bite marks on her shell and flippers. She seemed to be under the effects of paralysis, unpleasant currents of electricity keeping her body rigid and stiff. Meanwhile, her calf had beached itself on the stained, sandy shores, unwilling to leave his mother behind. He mewled helplessly, gently nudging his mother with his head in an attempt to rouse her.

Naturally, this scene attracted a large group of onlookers. People gasping in shock, some recording the incident on their phones...a few of the more brighter onlookers were already attempting to call the Pokemon Center for assistance and some good samaritans were digging through their bags for potions, berries, bandages and other medicinal aids.

But as the focus was drawn to the sandy shore and the injured Lapras mother.....there was a noticeable silence from the shore. The local fish Pokemon had fled the scene, even the local bird Pokemon flew off in a panicked frenzy. The waves began to churn ominously as a dark shadow began to cut it's way through the surf and onto the sandy shore!

Noriko's relationship with both her parents are very similar. When Noriko was old enough to show her intelligence and excellence in school, her parents sort of pulled away, treating her upbringing as "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Though she wasn't very sociable, they were content in her high grades, and left her to her own devices to maintain that excellency without hindering it by trying to change her or helicopter her too much. As such, she had some level of autonomy kids her age could never imagine. A very hands-off upbringing, so long as she continued to show academically that it was working for her.

Noriko not only respects this, but she appreciated it, though she was never very showy of it. She was grateful to be given any form of independence. They never fought, and from an outsider's perspective, they had the appearance of indifference towards each other.

Despite being cold as she usually is, she does love her family in her own way. She wants to complete her mission and bring everlasting peacefulness to all living things, including them. She sees it as the best gift she could give them for their faith in her.

When Agni received a call (not a text surprisingly), they were met with a very panicked Rene telling them to meet his Murkrows near by. When asked why, they were told that Iris is in danger--honestly that was enough for them to leave work in the middle of the shift, citing an emergency something about an accident, got on Arccy, and rode the hell out of the cafe--one of Rene's Murkrows leading them to somewhere nearby the woods.

Well, there's a group of people and Shiny Pokemon and--

Oh.

Rene's going to have a ball with these people and kill Agni for not getting there sooner--Iris on the ground? And the guy standing over her with his lackeys? Well, it has been a while since Houndoom got some fresh meat. And, well, Blaziken can dash out of here really fast...

Why not?

"Houndy, Fire Fang that asshole!!" Agni called out as they throw Houndoom's Pokeball and the Houndoom was on this guy's tail and ass as she bit into his arm. Agni stood between Iris and the Men who hurt Iris, looking mighty pissed off at what happened. With an oomph, Agni jumped down and brought out their Camerupt while rolling their left sleeve, their Brand glowing hot ass red as they glared at the group.

"What in the goddamn, fucking Arceus do you think you're fucking doing, assholes?" a growl came from them,

"What the fuck is wrong with you fucking people?!" And in the distance: a murder of Murkrows are coming Iris's direction. And Rene's Honchkrow too. Oh no.
