This morning, in Petah Tikva, a woman was seriously injured by a missile strike near where she was standing.

She got out of her car because of the siren but did not lie down on the ground.

The blast from the missile striking nearby caused her severe injury.

This is really unpleasant, and even if it gets your clothes dirty, lie down on the ground at the side of the road when you hear a siren.

This is your life.

The missile doesn’t have to fall directly on your head for you to get hurt. Even if it hits nearby, it’s dangerous – lying on the ground is the difference between life and death. Between a minor injury and a serious one.

A direct hit in Majdal Shams - a Druze town in the Golan, the northern part of Israel.

Within an hour, over 100 rockets were launched at Israel from Lebanon, by the terrorist organisation Hezbollah.

One of them landed in a soccer field, causing over 30 casualties, at least 10 murdered - mostly children.

(I have many things to say, about that and the connection to everything that's happening in Syria and Jabel al Druze.

But this post isn't about it. It's about sadness, and loss, and prayers for the wounded.)

IRANIAN AIR DEFENSES ACTIVATED IN THE SKIES OVER ISFAHAN, CENTRAL IRAN

📹 Scenes published by Al-Jazeera Arabic of Iranian air defenses which were activated in Isfahan, central Iran, early Friday morning following a presumed Israeli occupation drone, and possibly missile attack in retaliation for Iran's April 14th combined missile and drone strike on the occupation.

That strike was itself was retaliation for "Israel's" strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria on April 1st.
