Stupid Headcanons Literally No One Asked For! (you're welcome 😘)

- Alya can't cook for shit

- Neither can Marinette

- To say their parents are disappointed is a understatement

- Adrien can cook in the same way my dad can cook

- In that he is barely allowed to use the kitchen because he's broken a blender, a dishwasher, two toasters, two microwaves, and a toaster oven (4 for which he broke in a year)

- Chloe has arguably the best cooking skills in the class and the refined pallet to match, but will never admit to knowing how to do "peasants work"

- Nino and Kim share second place

- Max knows the chemistry behind cooking and medicinal uses of spices

- But making things taste good is another story

Ok I know I don't have any followers but I'm gonna post a headcanon just to get it out of my head (warning, I'm only using the English dub as a reference for this because I'm American trash).

In the episode The Pharaoh, Alya says that the textbook Ladybug dropped is a tenth grade textbook. The age for tenth grade in America is 15. In the episode Timebreaker, Alix turns 15. This makes sense if she's in tenth grade.

HOWEVER, we know that Marinette and Adrien are both 14. Adrien's birthday is in The Bubbler, and in the later episode Gorizilla, Gabriel says something like "how hard is it to keep track of a 14 year old boy." And Marinette turns 14 in the episode Befana.

This leads me to my Very Important Headcanon that Marinette and Adrien, being smarticle children, both skipped a grade at some point in their school careers (skipping a grade is a thing in France, right? Probably more likely for Adrien since he was homeschooled) and they're now both the Babies of their class who get teased by the rest of their classmates for being younger.

Mylene: "I heard that new horror movie was pretty good, we should all go see it!"

Kim: "Yeah but will Marinette and Adrien even be allowed inside the theat--"

Marinette and Adrien: "SHUT UP"

Adrien: Hey Nino guess what, my dad said I could come over today!"

Nino: "Awesome! Guess he couldn't find a babysitt--"

Adrien: "STOP"

And of course when Marinette found out that Adrien had skipped a grade as well, she was lovestruck and talked for hours about how much they had in common, ignoring Alya's jokes that she was too young to have a boyfriend.

And then at some point Ladybug or Cat Noir lets it slip that they're younger than the rest of their class, and the two of them sulk about it together

Cat Noir: "They wouldn't be calling me a baby if they knew I was saving their butts from akumas eight days a week"

Ladybug: "My classmates would probably still call me a baby if they knew that :("

Cat Noir: *sigh* Yeah, mine would too

And inevitably, the class eventually finds out Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities, but instead of reacting in awe they're just horrified at the fact that Paris' superheroes are ~so much younger than them~.

Alya: "If I had known Ladybug was an actual child I wouldn't have encouraged her so much!!!!"

Marinette: "I'm only sixteEN MONTHS YOUNGER THAN YOU--"
