i’ve been in and out of rp servers for years now and while i’ve met some lovely people, a lot of spaces tend to feel a little cliquey or very surface level when it comes to character development, so i’m really hoping to find people here who genuinely love building deep storylines and complex dynamics together. i’ve mostly written books up until recently, so i think part of my problem has been struggling to find partners who want to get as invested in the development side of things as i do. i love making pinterest boards, playlists, aesthetics, timelines, relationship dynamics, character studies, little details about habits/fears/history, literally like all of it!!

genre wise i’m honestly super flexible and open to almost anything. i love darker themes just as much as softer emotional ones and i’m very plot focused overall. i adore apocalyptic settings, dystopian worlds, vampires, survival horror, religious horror, psychological drama, morally gray characters, messy relationships, crime, cults, southern gothic, small appalachian towns, western vibes, sci-fi, fantasy, cryptic horror, tragic romance, toxic dynamics, found family, slowburns, road trips, etc. fandom wise i enjoy both writing in existing universe and also creating completely original worlds together too.

i can write male or female characters and i’m comfortable with basically any role in a dynamic. for romance, i tend to lean toward queer relationships since i’m queer myself and they’re usually easier for me to connect to emotionally, but i’m open minded overall. i also tend to adapt well to my partner i can write emotionally vulnerable characters, manipulative characters, obsessive dynamics, softer comforting dynamics, whatever best fits the story we’re building. length wise i’m very much a mirror writer and usually match whatever my partner prefers. the only thing i cannot write are canon characters as i never feel like i get their personalities right. totally fine with others writing them, though! <3

OBSSESSIVE MXM ROLEPLAY

I want an unachieving lazy bum (and psychologically inclined) muse sort of Daeron (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) or Dazai (BSD) coded. Doesn't have to be precisely like them but something of that vibe.

I don't mind if he's equally obsessed or in denial of his obsession but pretty much obsessed.

My muse is Nigel Colbie (Like Minds) and Gakuen Fyodor (BSD) coded but more emotional & very attached while still psychologically inclined.

Trans muses absolutely allowed. I had not thought I needed to specify this as it is a gay ad but masc enbies (not fem enbies / fem aligned identities). This includes any variation together with he/him and excludes she/her.

I am a huge yapper and I want to get to know your muse. But please don't control my muse or force hcs on my muse. I will try not to do the same by asking questions and figuring out your muse.

I am 21+ M and prefer 18+ M and Masc aligned writers.

Long-term literate MxM writing partner, 21+

26 year old guy looking for a dedicated 21+ literate MxM roleplay partner who wants to build something long-term: a story we're both still excited about six months in, not just six days.

Our leads need to be adults in every sense: 35–50 years old, written to actually read that age. Not "technically 35 but looks 24." I want the lived-in weight of that age range on the page.

Multi-paragraph / literate replies only. Looking for someone who treats dialogue as seriously as prose. Someone who can write a conversation that actually sounds like two people talking. Good dialogue makes a scene for me just as much as description does.

Give me flawed, layered, complex multi-faceted men: vices they can't shake, mental blocks they refuse to examine, moral inconsistencies they'll defend to the death. Guys who can be selfish, overbearing, possessive in ways that aren't clean or easily excusable. Characters messy enough to feel human, the kind who make questionable choices for understandable reasons. Little traces of toxic masculinity.

Open to almost any plot and setting as long as romance is a real, central thread and not window dressing. Be it enemies to lovers, friends to lovers ex-lovers to lovers or starting out lovers. My personal favorite themes revolve around action and thrillers with a strong slice-of-life current running underneath it, danger and domesticity sitting right next to each other.

Erotic scenes, themes and discussion of our characters is anticipated and gladly welcomed, but should by no means be the absolute central focus of everything we write. In my opinion, smut is only as good as the characters its being written for. I'm not looking for just porn with a story. I can also be a bit vanilla when it comes to the physicality of erotica. By that I mean I'm not comfortable writing anything more extreme than dub-con, not a fan of taboo kinks or fetishes. i.e toys or any kind of object play, blood/cutting, etc, I'm into the psychological aspects of smut. Religious guilt, self-denial, commitment betrayals, internalized homophobia from all the ignorance that was beaten into their brains as kids, and the toll it takes on their mental state of being. Identity crises, shame, and fears of being outed, sorta thing.

Original characters expected, but I do write some canons, if you'd like me to. (Joel Miller, Arthur Morgan, Rick Grimes, Negan Smith, John Wick, Logan Howeltt, Steve Rogers and other characters in that ballpark, just ask!)

Faceclaims matter more to me than it might to most people, so let's actually talk it through together rather than picking in a vacuum. Real people only: actors, models, whoever catches your eye. Zero drawn, painted, AI-generated, or animated faces. I also want a faceclaim with real appeal, someone whose presence you're genuinely drawn to, since we'll be building boards around this man's face for the long haul.
