Goddd I can't get over how Vill-V is one of the only characters in HI3 who is explicitly fundamentally a malicious person, and yet by committing one great act of evil she becomes good (at least by MOTHs standards).

"Pure Evil" was never evil, she was pride, ambition, and self-confidence, but the Conductor pushed all of their boundless malice onto her forcefully and locked her away. A pretty unquestionably evil act, to essentially Dorian Grey your malice with a fully conscious alter.

I think it's probably a little hard to understand /just/ how evil an act that was without the experience of being plural. But it's genuinely far beyond the pale in a lot of ways. Arguably far worse than the monkey war she caused 'just because' while imprisoned by MOTHs.

And it's also fascinating for comparison against Mobius because we're repeatedly shown that while Mobius is callous and has no issues with being a villain especially thanks to her childhood, she's very very rarely genuinely malicious.
