 Osomatsu

Osomatsu wouldn’t be really nervous about meeting his s/o’s family, but would probably start getting a little anxious and irritated if his brothers kept mentioning how he would inevitably make a bad impression and ruin his relationship. 

However, when his s/o shows up he quickly forgets about it- especially when he notices the dress they’re wearing. He’s quick to compliment them (and probably make a comment that earns him a smack on the head). Osomatsu thinks his s/o looks great wearing whatever but he’s certainly not complaining about how they look in that moment.

Him meeting their parents can go very badly, especially if they’re very strict people who don’t tolerate any nonsense. In that case he might get a little discouraged, needing his s/o to remind him they love him, independently from what their parents think. 

On the other hand, if the meeting goes well, expect him to pop up at their house if his s/o still lives there. He doesn’t even have a key, the parents just let him in and now he’s part of the family, meaning he might raid their fridge.

Karamatsu

Karamatsu spends two hours trying to come up with the perfect outfit, one hour choosing a gift and another one trying to come up with an ode to the parents, thanking them for bringing his s/o to the Earth. The poem ends up lost in his hurry so he ends up having to improvise. It doesn’t go very well. 

However, that doesn’t stop him from trying to impress his s/o’s family. He really doesn’t want them to hate him and force them to breakup, no matter how much he loves the star crossed lovers trope. Karamatsu doesn’t want to stop seeing his s/o, especially after seeing the new dress they bought specifically for the occasion. It’s so pretty and makes them look divine and Karamatsu thinks he might have fallen in love with them all over again.

He might get down on his knees and beg the parents to not separate them, even if the parents don’t have anything against their relationship. He just easily misreads any situation due to his nervousness.

Choromatsu

He’s both worried and confident about meeting them. On one hand he’s afraid he might do something embarrassing to his nervousness, on the other he’s sure that he’s prepared and capable of handling anything thrown at him.

Seeing what his s/o is wearing only makes him more flustered. They look extremely gorgeous and Choromatsu’s not sure he can handle their beauty and the pressure from making a good impression at the same time. His s/o is going to have to give him a small pep talk to calm him down before they meet up with their parents.

The meeting itself goes pretty well! Choromatsu is a little anxious at first but eventually eases up and starts entering the conversation. He’s going to try so hard to give a good impression that he might seem over polite but overall there’s no big problems or disasters.

Ichimatsu

He’s the most worried and takes the longest to actually meet his s/o’s parents. He’s certain he’ll mess up and both his s/o and their parents will hate him forever and he’ll end up alone for the rest of his life. His s/o probably has to warn their parents that he gets anxious really easily and their first meeting has to be on the shorter side to avoid any uncomfortable situations. The meetings do get longer eventually.

Despite that, Ichimatsu wants to go deep down because it would make his s/o happy, so he readies himself for it. He also really likes the dress they had planned to wear, it makes them look extremely cute and huggable (he spends five minutes debating with himself over whether or not he should actually hug them).

The meeting can go either way, honestly. It might be a complete disaster or it might be relatively calm- bonus points if the parents have a cat.

Jyushimatsu

Jyushimatsu’s very excited! He’s sure that the parents won’t hate him, after all their child is happier with him. However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t a little bit nervous under all that excitement. He also doesn't want his s/o’s parents to have a wrong idea about him.

When he sees the dress his s/o is wearing, he gets even more bubbly and starts complimenting them on it. They look really pretty!

The parents are probably going to love him and consider him part of a family in short time. He’s just a very lovable person and he does make their child happier, so is there even a downside to it?

Todomatsu

Todomatsu isn’t really worried. He’s got this. How could anyone not love him? He’s adorable. And even if they don’t, he’s only interested in his s/o’s opinion anyway. Their parents can’t decide for them who they are on a relationship with.

He’s the most calm out  of his brother’s in these kind of situations but that doesn’t mean he won’t gush over how pretty his s/o looks in their dress. He makes them take selfies with him and walk arm in arm because that’s just how adorable they are.

Needless to say, the meeting goes off without a hitch.

Hello! Will there be a royaiweek this year? I really wanted to submit more pieces to the week last year, but wasn't able to. And for me it was always one of the main "events" in the fandom here.

There most certainly will be! Headed by @rizascupcakes @capthawkeye @rizahawkaye and @tsaritsa this year! 

We all decided to do it the week of the 11th. So it’ll run June 11th - June 17th of 2018! Ana has already blessed us with a revamped blog We are actually asking for suggestions from the royai community for themes. We’re thinking of having a 3 prompts per day thing. One you guys choose, another the mods decide and then a picture prompt - just to give everyone a little variety! 

Please send us any suggestions you may have! Because we want to set up a poll at the beginning of next week that’ll run for the week….or two. actually we’ll play it by ear.
