Homestuck Zine?

Would anybody be interested in working on a Flarping themed Homestuck zine this summer. I think we could have artist/writer/contributers have the option to be compensated for their work.

Examples of things people could submit could be

(Well lit and clear pictures of) Traditional art

Digital art

Articles! (I have a list of ideas if anyone is interested and needs some topics/ideas)

Small/ Medium/ Large size comics

Hi, all!

Mod Phantom here. It has been quite the rollercoaster, hasn’t it? There’s been ups, downs, and I’m pretty sure there’s been some sideways rolls in there too. But, this blog isn’t offline just yet. Mod Phantom has been working and saving up enough funds, and now has somewhat-reliable internet apart from her phone plan! So, that means that now where I would have only been able to post on wifi around work, I can now post at home as well. 

So, if there’s any of ya’ll still hanging around, I’d love to write some stuff for you! If anyone needs a refresher of what I do and don’t write for, don’t hesitate to reach out, I’d be more then happy to let some of our new friends know, as well as the old ones!

 How Simon and Bobby cook!

(Sorry for not posting for a long time on this blog, we will try to make it more alive again) 

Simon:

Let’s see - he spent most of his life in prison, so I don’t think that he had time to learn to cook. 

And even if he had an opportunity to learn, he wouldn’t because what was the point of learning if he was on death row? 

But because of his sword skill, he is really great at chopping vegetables or preparing meat. 

So he would have some problems with preparing a full meal, but he wants to learn. 

Will probably start with some easy Japanese dishes, maybe some sushi?

Though, his first dish would most likely end up being soba (Probably with some help from Bucky)

He will appreciate his S/O helping him out in the kitchen (but he probably wouldn’t ask for help in the first place).

Bobby (Not phantom):

Okay, so, I have this headcanon that Bobby is actually half Italian.

I can imagine him and his family making homemade pasta together. 

So he used to help around in the kitchen, so that means he has a general idea of how to cook. 

But he has a tendency to go overboard. 

The meal would be perfect if he didn't add too much of spices or didn’t burn something, but that's because he gives his all when he cooks! 

If his S/O is around and keeps track of him, he can be an excellent cook! Also, he loves cooking with his S/O, It reminds him of home. 

His favorite things to make are beef steak, cacio e pepe (it's like Italian mac and cheese!) and bread and tomato soup.
