Ok so last night I dreamt I installed a mod in stardew valley and the mod put in a new npc. Pretty normal for a mod. The name of the npc started with an m or something like that I can’t really remember what it was.
I started playing stardew as one would. Picking crops, selling those crops, fishing, walking through town, etc. but then the new npc showed up, she was female l, had shoulder length brown hair, Caucasian skin, simple townie clothes. I went up and talked to her but she didn’t say anything but a prompt came up and said if I didn’t do things at a certain time in game like the npc wanted there would be consequences.
Weird right? But that wasn’t the end. I was getting to the end of the day and was home yet. So as I was heading home from the beach the npc showed up and another prompt popped up basically saying.
“You haven’t done as I asked”
And then proceeded to beat the crap out of me.
‘This mod’s messed up’ dream me thinks, as I run away from npc woman.
I get pretty far away and think I’ve lost her. But as run home she appears out from behind a house. To beat me up again.
(But you have weapons in Stardew Valley!) I hear you say but alas no. The best weapon I had in dream stardew was a wooden spoon….
(But where are the OTHER npc’s in the game) I hear you question from where you are! Well there weren’t any around. Dream me thought that too but unfortunately they were nowhere to be found.
So away I ran again but unfortunately she got me that time I was knocked out.
When I awake from my forced slumber I am in a part of the game I do NOT recognize and the incredibly violent npc was as asleep right next to me.
So as one would I got out of the unknown area npc AGAIN following behind. Me but this time I am able to make it home to my lovely husband Elliott.
And that is where the dream ends.

I have no idea where the dream came from or why my lil weird noggin made it up but now you know about it too. Do I watch to much horror, probably, am I going to stop watching horror.
Nah.
