For today's 2019 Modathon showcase, we're taking a look at Mudcrab Replacer By PeterBitt and Pherim, a graphics mod that, quite obviously, replaces the models and textures for the famous mudcrabs of Morrowind. In the same vein as PeterBitt and Pherim's other award-winning competition replacers, such as the Nix-Hound Replacer that won the Modathon in 2015, and the Scamp Replacer that came in 2nd place in 2016, this Mudcrab Replacer is a beautiful and detailed overhaul of this once rather bland crustacean, including support for Physical-Based Rendering. 

This is by far the best graphical replacer for Morrowind's mudcrabs out there, and it's certainly a contender for one of the best mods of the 2019 Modathon! If you're looking to visually improve your game just a bit more, I'd highly recommend checking this replacer out!

My 3rd entry for Modathon. Adds a new book "The Ayembedt for Outlanders" to the game. This book contains artwork for each letter in the daedric "ayembedt" as I have called it. The art is by Fury_On and is used with permission. To get your own copy of the book, you must help the author (who is on his own quest to improve literacy among outlanders) get the book ready to publish.

The runner-up prize for my last Follower Appreciation Event was @monaluxstesblog. The request was a mash up of a "Guar and the Clockwork City / Sotha Sil". So I created a Fabricant guar and made it a well-featured companion.

Dura gra-Bol's House Reclaimed - And the Grab-All Gang

My 4th mod for the Modathon started as a simple house mod and expanded into an entire smuggling faction. But you can still choose the high road and be rewarded for killing Dura as instructed. Get to work with Larrius Varro again as he sticks his nose into more of Vvardenfell's dirty business. Or choose the profitable path of a smuggler and climb the ranks to become the local boss.

Earn dirty money. Or kill those dirty money-makers. Rent a house from the biggest druglord on Vvardenfell. Or legally purchase your new home and wipe the slate clean.

My 2nd entry for the May Modathon Month,  Light Decay provides a subtle, immersive, and useful visual signal for when a light source in the player's hand is about to run out: the radius of the light will gradually diminish and eventually go out when the light extinguishes. The decay is non-linear so that the radius will remain relatively stable for most of the time; but it will then start to reduce at an increasing rate as the end of the light source's time approaches.
