not to have a fandom 'old man yells at cloud' moment but after all these years it still irks me... why the hell did they show sherlock immediately identifying moriarty as gay? and then talking about his gay underwear (and knowing exactly which brands are popular with gay men)?? if they weren't planning on johnlock to becoming canon at some point?

to this day i am still so dumbfounded by moffatiss tbh

I honestly can’t believe how many times sherlock and john almost talked about their feeling and then didnt. I love and hate you moffatiss i really do.

Dracula rant ahead!

Okay I need to get my thoughts out on the last episode!

I think the idea for that episode was superb they just didn’t give themselves enough time to think it through and realise that it should have been 2 episodes at least! Van Helsink being the one to save Dracula and him in return dying with her was such a fantastic image, but the romance plot at the very end was so under developed, especially since she was the one who saved him! I thought it was far more beautiful to think of it as her being a parental figure to Dracula despite her being so much younger and she has what he could never have, which is a calm attitude towards death! That’s so beautiful! And him not burning in the light was genuinely so interesting, I just wish that last episode could have been fleshed out further, some of the characters (cough John was it? Cough) were so underdeveloped that they either should have been cut from that episode of that episode made longer.

I can genuinely say I enjoyed it, I felt annoyed about the ending but I’ve thought about it a lot since last night and honestly I think it was just under developed

All in all, I think they made the mistake of not letting Dracula be the main character in the last episode, and not making this show two seasons, one season focusing on the first episode, and the second on the last, then it would have been perfect

(Ps. Claes Bang as Dracula is the best thing I’ve ever seen. I need more)

Mary Morstan could have been one of the best villains TV has ever seen. what a missed opportunity.
