First part is a repost of a reddit comment I made: if Slaanesh was able to create its own birth before being born, (because once something exists in the warp it has always existed) could the Dark King, who is almost guaranteed to be the Emperor, have engineered its own birth by being the entity that met Big E (who isn’t aware that the Dark King is him or does know and wants to be a god and its all part of the plan, pick your poison) on Molech and promising half of his sons to chaos (Molech biblically being associated with child sacrifice) in exchange for primarch making powers ?
The Dark King would then play the long game and use the traitor primarchs as pawns to allow them to ascend which almost succeeded had Oll not intervened. It could explain why Big E foresaw a future rebellion but wasn’t 100% sure who all the traitors would be while also strategically favoring and neglecting some of his sons to set the board in his favor.

Why the hell does barely anyone talk about how the deal Big E had with the chaos gods/himself ascended/some other warp entity was done on MOLECH aka the Canaanite god the Bible associated with CHILD SACRIFICE???
Like it’s a pretty well known fact that the deal was done on Molech the planet, but nobody really talks about the origin of the name??
It is so on the nose you can smell it, it almost practically confirms that Big E PROMISED some of the primarchs to the gods for power.
Why abandon Angron’s slave brothers to die when you had the war hounds and yourself in orbit???
Why never comfort or try to help Konrad with his visions and hauntings and leave all the parenting to Fulgrim????
Then there’s Lorgar(I have a whole other theory about why Monarchia had to happen in line with this one), Mortarion, Perty… you catch my drift.
Big E wanted to make sure to throw away his broken tools so that he could keep the good ones.
I made a post similar to this about two weeks ago but the molech thing went completely over my head. IT LITERALLY MEANS CHILD SACRIFICE HOW MORE EXPLICIT COULD YOU GET???
Fulgrim’s fall seemed to happen by chance, anyone could have found the sword but it just happened to be him.
Big E is some ways seemed surprised Horus turned traitor but there are also some hints in the lore that he knew who ever was warmaster would be traitor.
Magnus is a mixed bag. In someways he was destined to be a sacrificial lamb not for chaos but for the throne( the throne may have been safe before Magnus broke it but it would still mean that Magnus would be left on that throne for all eternity if Big E had his way), the council of Nikkea seemed designed to ostracize and humiliate Magnus, he was willing to let him back into the loyalists but by that point it was too late…
Also worth noting that with the lore reveal that there are 8 chaos dominions, all the non demon prince/undivided primarchs fit perfectly with the remaining categories
Encroaching Ruin - Lorgar(idk who would be this god if not the Dark King)
Formless Distortion - Alpharius(omegon???Both???Didn't the switch??)(idk who this god will be)
Heedless Slaughter - Angron(Khorne)
Infernal Tempest - Magnus(Tzeentch)
Malevolent Artifice - Perturabo(Very likely Vashtor?)
Putrid Corruption - Mortarion(Nurgle)
Rapturous Sensation - Fulgrim(Slaanesh)
Ravenous Dissolution - Konrad(very likely Malice)
And above all, the Primordial Ahnillator, the end and the beginning, everything and nothing, which lines up pretty well with the Dark King description we get and would be associated with Horus because in the lore ppl thought he would become the dark king.
So, we have 9 sons of the Chaos God-Dark King-Emperor, with one officially super dead
And 9 sons of the "not a God" -Emperor of mankind, with 2 dead(not super dead like Horus)
9 devils, 9 angels
2 kings
They were doomed before they were even scattered
Perhaps Erda was right to crash out.
