Korvac

Michael Korvac

Powers: Able to scan and analyse anything due to cyborg nature. Powers of matter alteration, energy projection, teleportation and manipulation of time/space after acquiring the power cosmic.

Born in an alternative Earth in the year 2997 Michael Korvac was raised on the Blue Area of the Moon by his mother after his father was killed. When the Solar System was conquered by the Brotherhood of Badoon Korvac became a traitor to the human race and collaborated with them, however when he found asleep at a machine whilst working they grafted his upper body to a machine turning him into a cyborg.

Korvac was then transported though time by the Grandmaster to battle Doctor Strange and the Defenders. After deliberately losing this battle he scanned and analysed the Grandmasters cosmic power and gained several new abilities.

Soon after he fled across time and space to another Universe’s Earth. Upon arrival he discovered Galactus’s space station and downloaded knowledge from the station into his own system. Imbued with the power cosmic he became a god-like being and recreated himself in perfect humanoid form. Posing as a human called Michael he travelled to Earth with the intent of reshaping it into a utopia. Sensing he had the power to challenge the Elders, the Collector sent his daughter Carina to challenge Korvac but the two fell in love and later married.

After being discovered by the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy Korvac slew wave after wave of heroes, and was finally caught off guard and weakened by Captain America and then Wonder Man. Although able to kill the heroes, Korvac was weakened further by the combined efforts of Starhawk, Iron Man, the Vision and Thor. Sensing that his wife Carina now doubted him, Korvac committed suicide through an act of will. An angered Carina then attacked the surviving heroes, and was finally slain by Thor.

Ajak

Powers: Abilities of levitation and flight along with increased stamina, molecular manipulation and cosmic life-force granting him regeneration powers and virtual immortality. He is also a skilled hand to hand combatant.

A member of the subgroup of Eternals known as the Polar Eternals he was born in the area of Polaria in Siberia. In the 13th Centuray BC he fought in the Trojan war and was mistaken for Ajax.

During the Third Host of the Celestials, Ajak acted as a liaison between the Celestials and Earth and was present in Peru when they arrived. With Zuras, he arranged the flight plan the Celestials used to leave Earth. Then he put himself into storage as atoms within the City of the Space Gods, to await their eventual return. Ajak was then awoken when the Fourth Host of the Celestials arrived. After fighting Thor at he Fourth Host site in Peru he found himself battling Zeus and was among the Eternals captured by Brother Tode and late set free by Iron Man.

Ajak was later transformed into a monster through the use of Celestial technology and sent to kill Thena and Kro’s win children, killing many other twins along the way. After he was restored to his true form by the Eternals he was so grief-stricken that he disintegrated himself.

A God at Home

When she is at home she relaxes by creating skies. Each cloud must be in perfect order, each constellation a story, each skyscape a map and a life and a world in its entirety. She waits until she is nearly dreaming, then plucks the twinkles and thoughts from behind her own eyes, scattering them in dark places until she has made a sky she is pleased with.

The clouds she saves from her cooking. They are the flour from her fingertips, the rinds from her cantaloupes, the water within which she boiled her eggs. Each spice spilled goes into those clouds.

The stars are her promises, some shining, some broken. Each is perfect; all promises are. She is not so different from those she creates when she is not at home.

Before she goes to bed she stares upward, up at her sky, and wonders who made it.
