Today was Day Two of my first #monations2019 and we all had an envelope under our chair. In that envelope was a “paper” dollar that we could choose out of 3 local Ohio non-profit organizations to donate to. This will be a real dollar 💵 by my company. I noticed other real dollars 💵 were also added in the boxes. I looked through my wallet to add a few dollars to the @directionsforyouthfamilies (my choice of organization), but only had a $20, so that’s what I gave! 🙏🏼. I’ve been there when I’ve needed help, my family has needed help, and am working on “giving back”! 😉. So I enjoyed the video today that showed some of the children & families, and what Directions For Youth & Families helps. Mental, Behavioral and Emotional counseling is often provided to 95% of those families & children! There are also summer & after school programs in the underprivileged neighborhoods for the youth to take advantage of! Everyone deserves to be in music, arts, and other educational activities while in a safe environment! 🙏🏼. I am so grateful to have even helped just a small amount!
