In December of 1986, the time traveling alien known as the Doctor (Doctor 1) and his companions arrived at the South Pole Space Tracking Station and ended up confronting the Cybermen for the first time as the Cybermen’s planet (Earth’s lost sister) was draining Earth’s energy. While the Doctor managed to stop the Cybermen’s destruction of Earth and turning it’s population into Cybermen, the strain was too much and the Doctor regenerated for the first time into his second incarnation (Doctor 2) ("The Tenth Planet", Doctor Who, vlm 1, TV) The cybermen’s homeworld of Mondas was destroyed by Earth. Der Kondomversand der Firma H. Kästner hatte eine Postfachadresse in der Neustadt. In der ganzen DDR kannte man die Anzeigen mit dem großen, schwarzen Ausrufezeichen: "unauffälliger Versand, spesenfrei und diskret". . Kondome wurden in der in der DDR ausschließlich im VEB Gummiwerke "Werner Lamberz" produziert. Was die älteste Kondomfabrik Deutschlands ist. In Erfurt werden Kondome bereits seit 1929 hergestellt - noch in den 50er- und 60er-Jahren aus einer Benzin-Kautschuklösung. Von gefühlsecht kann noch nicht die Rede sein. 1971 kauft die DDR die erste Flüssigkautschukanlage im Westen. Bezahlt wird diese mit Kondomen.
