Things are breaking down between the Conglomeration and friends. Not in a bad way, just sort of constantly breaking down it seems

It seemed like Thekla was being nice and admiring about Kris being ruthless, but then it wasn't an invitation to the triangle at all, she just wanted to kick her to the curb. Which was a shame. And as if Jamie wasn't the one being weird in the lead up to that title match

I have watched Collision, finally. I wasn't sure if it'd be worth it, especially after all the Tribulations, but Nigel, Don and Tony's banter was more than worth it.

I was there, I saw Jack Perry biting toes. He's still a little feral. You can take the boy out of the jungle...

I saw Santasaurus/Lucha Claus. I didn't see whatever happened over the stuffie, though I think someone mentioned there'd been an incident - all I really saw was Luchasaurus and Jack handing out presents to the kids around the front row, and it was very cute.

When the Grizzled Young Veterans came out they were instantly booed for being from Liverpool. And then they doubled down on it. It was kind of interesting honestly being in the crowd and hearing all the pro-/anti-Manchester stuff and not being from Manchester myself. I was just like "?? :D" However, the GYV and Cruz did tell us to 'shut up', and I finally understood why that's such an effective heel tactic - because when you've been there at the show, cheering and booing and clapping and supporting your faves and booing your enemies and enjoying it, to be told to shut up feels INFLAMMATORY.

Nice to see Eddie, he was very sweet after the match also

I didn't see the earlier promo so I didn't realise the Mercedes open challenge was for her RevPro belt - I had a feeling Windsor would be winning, in the UK, when she came out, but I was just confused that Mercedes would be losing her TBS title in a last-minute open challenge on a weekly show before a big PPV. If I'd known it was the RevPro belt I wouldn't have had any doubt.

Banger of a main event, this was where I was more impressed by Okada's existence than ever during the show, and he was extremely funny. Surprising outcome to me, but after a match like that, I couldn't fault it. Also Don got into it with Rick Knox on the floor at the end, but it MADE NO DIFFERENCE

Tonight's Triller streams have not given me a good feeling about how it will be to watch the Christmas shows this week. I guess I should get all my wrapping and everything out of the way first, so I can focus on...whatever needs to be done.

Other thoughts:

Well - I still somehow wasn't expecting Mercedes to win. I get that she's great and a big draw and is putting on AMAZING matches (which the Zeuxis one tonight was) - but I just never expected her to be winning everything. They did turn it into a storyline moment more than a 'beating cmll's champion' moment, at least - and the more she wins the more I think it's a possibility she's not beating Toni at All In? Although who knows? And it also sets up a potential CMLL title match for Forbidden Door in August...we shall see.

And Joe competing at Arena Mexico, at a time when his career's somewhat coming to an end according to him :') - I wasn't sure but I think commentary confirmed it was his first time working there

And just all the wrestlers who got to work at Arena Mexico because of this show - it's like a thing apparently, there's a list of three or four classic arenas only a few wrestlers have worked all of - I forget the details, but I know Arena Mexico is one of them, and the Tokyo Dome (and maybe Flushing Meadows?). And now so many wrestlers can have that ticked off their list, whether they 'complete the set' or not, and I'm just so happy for all of them, and especially for all of them that really meant something to <3

Thoughts on Collision:

FTR losing - interesting, but it makes it seem more likely they're winning at Collision, to me. Which kind of makes sense if there'll be a C&C (important ampersand) revenge arc and title run

Kyle versus Ace was very good, my stream kept freezing so I don't think I got the full benefit of all the action, but I enjoyed it

I mean, it seems to me like they might need a favour, it's not like they win their matches fairly anyway and they've been taking some Ls lately. Death Riders obviously want nothing to do with politicking though, so it still makes sense

My guess is that Claudio will want a shot at the TNT title...it's interesting he didn't just follow Moxley's lead, though 🔬
